Hitoshi raised his hands, shaking his head, "Don't worry about it, I kinda missed your touchy side. It makes people feel loved."
Lenora grinned, "Oh! So you're a big softie, aren't you?", she jabbed his side, chuckling.
Shinso's cheeks assumed a light tint of pink, "Stop it."
"Never," she raised the bottom of the shirt Katsuki gave her, twisting it in a ribbon, creating a sort of crop top, "why you here, though? Don't you usually train on Gym Delta?"
Even if it was October, that day was incredibly warm outside and the fatigue of the train wasn't exactly helping Len chill out. Shinso's eyes traveled down on her hips, widening once he saw the dark path of scars on her right side and the burned left side.
"Nasty, right?", Len followed his eyes, looking down at her scars, "But I guess this is what you get if you want to be a hero."
Hitoshi felt guilty about the stares he was giving her, quickly removing his eyes from her body, "Sorry, I didn't mean to look!", he fast apologized, but Lenora was still smiling.
"Hitoshi, it's normal that people look at them. Also, it's not like I'm trying to hide them! They're part of my path, and they'll be there forever, there's nothing I could do to change it."
He felt shivers running down his spine, "I don't know if that spurge me more toward the hero's road or pushed me away from it forever", he joked, making her chuckle.
"Don't be scared! I know you're not as reckless as I am, so you'll be fine! Or at least less scarred!", she patted his back, reassuring him somehow.
"Thanks, I guess", he smiled back at her.
Shinso's phone started ringing in his pocket, making his face gone pale when he noticed who was calling him.
"Shit, I must go, I'm really late," he pressed the green button on the screen, "uhm, hello, I'm sorry I was talking with a friend. Yes. Yes," he sighed, side-eyeing her, "yes. I'm coming. Sorry."
He hung up, slamming his phone on his forehead, "I'll be running 40 more laps if I don't reach Gym Zeta in 3 minutes."
Lenora smirked, tilting her head, "Hitoshi, do you trust me?"
Shinso looked at her lips, taking a step back, "I don't trust that smirk."
"C'mere!", Len stretched out her hand and Shinso hesitantly place his on her palm, "Do you have a pen on you?"
With his free hand, he rummaged in a side pocket of his bag, taking out a chewed-up black pen.
"Sorry, not exactly fancy."
Len tsked, opening the pen with her thumb, "You never saw Izuku's. They're his favorite snack!"
Shinso laughed, watching Lenora drawing a bizarre symbol on his palm, "What's this?"
"Speed rune, works better if it's on you as well," she gripped harder his hands, placing the pen back in the bag pocked, smiling, "now, never leave my hand, alright?"
"Alright, but what...?"
Before he could finish his sentence, Lenora started running at full speed, Shinso following her; it seemed like a magic force was pushing him faster and faster, guiding his body, supporting his legs, completely embracing him. He never felt so strong and protected at the same time. Was that what having a strong power meant? Or was it just Lenora's brightness that took her quirk to that level?
