1st pov
While at an award show I decided to go get something to eat since the mc's aren't out yet. Just as I walk out someone walks up to me, I turn around and I see her starring at me with her bright blue eyes
"Oh! Sorry if I scared you" "it's okay" "I'm Taylor Swift by the way" "I'm [name]". After some small talk Taylor decides to get some food with me and when we got back inside she invited me to sit with her and her team
After that night me and Taylor have been hanging out constantly there have been multiple magazines and articles with rumors of me and Taylor being in a secret relationship
One night I get a call from Taylor
T: [name]?
N: yea?
T: sorry if I woke you up
N: no it's fine
T:do you wanna go to the beach, I know it like 2am but I can't sleep
N:... fine, I'll pick you up
When drove into the driveway I saw Taylor already standing outside when I parked she walked over and got in putting on her seatbelt "no headlights?" "There's barely any other cars out right now" "Can we get coffee first, since you woke me at midnight" "I said sorry!, but yea I kinda want some"
we got out of the car and enter the coffee shop we walked up to the blonde lady behind the counter "hi, what would you like to order?" "Can we get two *f/d*" "yeah hold on" the lady said walking over to the machines
A few seconds later the lady comes back "here you go, have a good night" "thanks you too", we decided to just walk to the beach since it was right by the cafe
We walked between the water and the sand just making random jokes, until I looked up and saw some constellations "look up"
Tay's pov
I look up making our shoulders brush, he looks over at me "Taylor thank you for waking me, I actually have something to tell you, can we sit first though" "yea let's go over to that bench"
We sit down side by side and I take a sip of my somehow still hot coffee "I wanted to ask you to be my girlfriend, it's okay to say no"
I've honestly been thinking about asking out since the day we met I can believe he finally asked " Of course!" I say excitedly putting down my coffee and pulling him in for a hug "I was wondering when you'd ask" I say jokingly making both of us laugh
