Irene and Greggy finally arrived home. They bought their daughter's favorite foods such as ice cream, donuts, fries, and a meal from Jollibee. Irene didn't allow her daughter so much to eat those kinds of food but they have to suyo pa their daughter even so they know that it's just okay with Audelia 'cause she's so understanding. Still, they have to make it up to their daughter. On the other hand, Audelia is inside her room sleeping as she was so tired and slightly sad about what happened earlier but she does understand that her parents were also been very busy with their work.
IRENE'S POV:
"Oh Irene nariyan na pala kayo," Nay Dolores
"Opo Nay, kakarating lang po nasaan po ang anak ko?," I replied hinahanap ko agad ang baby ko dahil may kasalanan kami ni Greg sa kanya.
"Nasa taas Irene. Pag-uwi niya nga kanina mukhang pagod na pagod saka malungkot ang mga mata niya. Nakapunta ba kayo sa school?," Nay Dolores
"Hindi nga Nay eh. Nagkaroon kasi ng emergency meeting kanina. Akyat na po muna ako to check on her." I said
I feel so guilty talaga when I heard my baby is sad. Actually, I am busy because I'm planning to resign na with my work so that makapag-focus na ako sa anak ko, kawawa naman my dear baby.
I entered her room and found her sleeping pa. So I decided muna not to wake her up I know she was so tired I kissed her forehead gently and nagtungo na ako sa room namin ni Greg to shower and prepare for a little surprise for my daughter's success in her academics. I'm so proud of my daughter, she deserves everything.
THIRD PERSON'S POV:
It's dinner time everything's prepared now. Ang kulang na lang ay ang anak nila. Audelia's still in her room she just woke up. Nagmumuni-muni muna siya. It seems na medyo nawala naman ang pagod niya dahil nakapag-rest siya pero medyo may lungkot pa rin 'cause she thought that her parents were not yet home.
"Carol anak baba ka na dyan. Kumain ka na ang mommy at daddy mo malelate daw ng uwi" Nay Dolores lied it's indeed just for the little surprise
"Opo Nay, susunod na po ako," Carol replied calmly
Bumaba na si Audelia at napansin niya na madilim sa kusina nila. The couple decided to surprise their daughter so that she could ease the feeling of sadness at makabawi silang mag-asawa.
"SURPRISEEE!!!," Irene and Greggy said in unison
Audelia was surprised by what she witnessed
Irene first approached her daughter. She hug her tightly and showered her with kisses followed by Greggy..
"Congratulations my baby love! We're so sorry we didn't make it. There's an emergency meeting kanina sa office anak. I'm really so sorry. Mommy is so proud of you baby always anak," Irene uttered sweetly.
"Congratulations baby, you did so well anak. We're so sorry. Hayaan mo na bumawi kami sayo ni mommy hmm'kay," Greggy said while hugging her daughter
"Mommy, daddy naman nag-abala pa for this. I'm fine po. Nag-alala lang din po ako kanina kasi hindi kayo nagrerespond sa akin. But yeah I understand po naman. I may be sad kanina dahil wala kayo but I'm okay na seeing you two. Thank you so much, mom and dad," Audelia softly uttered
"Ow sorry anak, hindi kita agad na-inform rush na kanina kasi. We bought pala ni daddy your favorites come on let's eat na, " Irene said
"Am I allowed mom? I thought it was bawal, " Audelia said
"Yes, little girl. Pwede po and please drink plenty of water after you eat darling, " Irene replied.
"Let's sit and eat now, " Greggy uttered.
After they eat, the couple decided to watch a movie together with their daughter. But Audelia politely refused not because she was making tampo but because she knows that her parents were also tired the whole day.
"Let's watch a movie little girl," Greggy said
"That's a bright idea, come my love. What do you want to watch hmm?," Irene said while smooching her daughter
"I would like to mom but I know you both are so tired rin from work. Look, mama your eyes oh, you both seem sleepy na po. Do not think I am sulking, I'm all good po," Audelia politely replied
"You sure baby?," Irene assured
"Yes, mama," Audelia replied
"Okay then, sleep with us na lang tonight. I miss you today eh," Irene replied pouting.
"You're so cute mama *laughing* Okay mommy I miss the both of you rin eh," Audelia replied
"Yay! Come na my love. I want a cuddle with my baby!," Irene uttered excitedly
"Share mo naman sa akin ang anak natin Hon. Baka solohin mo na naman" *lol'ing* Greggy said
They all laughed at what Greggy said.
"Sure honey. She's in the middle naman always," Irene said
With that, they walk inside the room and prepared to sleep.
Irene hums the lullaby she always sings for her daughter. Slipping through my fingers.
After a while, Irene noticed that her mag-ama was already sleeping. She stared at her daughter and said....
"I am blessed to have my little darling. I really thank God He gave me my dear Carol that is so understanding, loving, caring, and indeed an affectionate child. I can't ask for more. Even so, we were not able to attend the recognition earlier because of the urgent meeting she never sulks. What kind of heart do you contain my love? You're an angel sent above and I can't thank God enough for giving you in our lives. I love you so much anak. You made mommy so happy every day. My forever happy pill and favorite. Goodnight my love." Irene said in her mind
She kissed Greggy and Audelia after praying and then she rest. She carefully hugs her daughter and whispered...
"I love you, my love sleep tight," Irene uttered and kissed her daughter's forehead.
