Harrison: "We have no idea, Jesse. Cisco and Caitlin found you in the hallway passed out on the floor."
I looked down at dad confused because I know full well I was in the Time Vault when I passed out. So someone had to take me out of the Time Vault and into the hallway so someone could find me. I knew only one person who that could be. The man in yellow, my father. He must have brought me out, because if he didn't...no one would have known I was there, and I probably would have died.
Harrison: "I was recovering myself...when I heard about you. The hospital was undergoing unexplainable power outages. Every time you were going into cardiac arrest. Which was actually a misdiagnosis because you see, you weren't flatling, Barry. Your heartbeat was moving too fast for the EKG to register it."
I looked down at dad shocked, that would mean that he was right. This is the making of the man in red. The start of the Flash. Wait...did dad know about this? Did he know this is how the Flash is created? Because if he did, wouldn't he have NOT made the thing that created the Flash? If he didn't, then just maybe the Flash wouldn't have been made, so the man in red wouldn't have gone to the past to kill my family. They would be alive. No, dad wouldn't do that to me. He probably didn't know this is how the Flash was created. I trust him.
Harrison: "Now, I'm not the most popular person in town these days, but Detective West and his daughter gave me permission to bring you here. Where we were able to stabilize you."
Barry: "Iris?"
Harrison: "Iris yes. She came to see you quite often."
We got back to the cortex, and Cisco and Caitlin looked at us. Iris must be that girl he was with last night...or well the night of the particle accelerator.
Caitlin: "She talks a lot."
Cisco: "Also, she's hot."
We looked at him shocked since now wasn't the time to say shit like that. Barry looked almost worried.
Barry: "I need to go."
We looked at him shocked since he just learned that he was struck by lightning and he wants to go out and meet his friend. He needs to rest!
Caitlin: "No, you cant."
Harrison: "No, no, no. Caitlin's right."
Caitlin: "Now that you're awake, we need to do more tests. You're still going through changes. There's so much that we don't know."
Barry: "I'm fine, really. I feel normal."
Normal for a guy that was struck by lightning, and doesn't have any scars, or is on his feet like nothing happened.
Barry: "Thank you for saving my life."
He ran off and we looked at the doorway of the Cortex shocked. He suddenly pokes his head back grinning.
Barry: "Can I keep the sweatshirt?"
Harrison: "Yeah, keep the sweatshirt."
Barry grinned at that and ran off. Really, this man? Dad turned to me.
Harrison: "Come on Jesse. We need to run some tests to make sure you weren't affected by the particle accelerator explosion."
Huh, what does that mean?
Jesse: "What does that mean dad?"
Caitlin: "After the explosion people changed."
I looked at them confused. Changed, what does that mean?
(Time skip)
After they ran more tests on me, it appears I was affected by the explosion. Dad didn't seem too happy about that, but I can't blame him really. They told me about Meta-humans, and how they were created. Barry then came back and told us that he apparently could run really fast, as time slowed down for him, type fast. So it appears he's becoming the Flash. We are at an abanded airport track to see if Barry is telling the truth. Truth be told, I am hoping he is lying. I stood next to dad as Cisco got Barry ready.
