Chapter 2: Particle Accelerator

Harrison: "Gideon, turn on the backup lights."

Gideon: "Of course, Dr. Wells."

She turned on the backup lights, and he looked down at the ground to see Jesse passed out on the ground. This got him worried even more, and he ran over to her. He knelt by her side, placing his hand on her neck, trying to find a pulse. Once he found one, he calmed down a little bit, happy that she was alive. He placed his hand on her cheek, trying to get her to wake up. But she wouldn't wake up.

He knew what he needed to do. He picked her up and brought her out of the time vault. He placed her on the ground, moving her body a little bit to make it comfortable for her. He then stood up and walked away from her. He hid off somewhere, letting Cisco and Caitlin find Jesse. They panicked and picked her up. Harrison knew that his daughter was safe now, so now it was time to put on his facade.

(Jesse's POV)

I slowly woke up to hear the song Poker Face by Lady Gaga. I slowly opened my eyes and groaned at the brightness. I slowly blinked, making the brightness go away. I looked around confused to see that I was in the Med bay of the Cortex. What am I doing here?

Caitlin: "What are you doing?"

I looked to see Caitlin talking to Cisco, and Cisco dancing a little bit. I looked at the bed next to me to see it was the same boy from last night. The man in red. What happened to him?

Cisco: "He likes this song."

Caitlin: "How could you possibly know that?"

Cisco: "I checked his Facebook page. I mean, he can hear everything, right?"

Caitlin: "Auditory functions are the last sensory faculties to degenerate."

I slowly sit up just as Barry gasps awake. He jumps up and looks around shocked. Cisco and Caitlin looked over at us shocked. Cisco ran over to the mic.

Cisco: "Dr. Wells, get down to the Cortex, like right now."

Huh, dad? Is he okay? Caitlin walked over to Barry and shined a light in his eyes.

Caitlin: "Pulse 120, pupils equally reactive to light."

Barry started to freak out. He looked around confused. He tried to get out of bed, but Cisco stopped him.

Cisco: "Look at me, look at me. Hey, hey, whoah, whoah. Relax. Everything's okay, man. You're at S.T.A.R. Labs."

Barry looked at Cisco shocked, hell even I am shocked. Why bring us to the lab and not a hospital?

Barry: "S.T.A.R. Labs? Who are you?"

Cisco: "I'm Cisco Ramon, she's Caitlin-"

Caitlin glared at him, upset that he used her first name and not her title. 

Cisco: "Dr. Snow."

Caitlin rolls her eyes and holds out a cup to Barry. Oh, god, please tell me she isn't going to ask him, what I think she's going to ask him.

Caitlin: "I need you to urinate in this."

God, she asked him! Why?!

Cisco: "Not this second."

Barry looked at Caitlin and Cisco confused, he looked at the wires that were attached to him. Huh, do I have the same thing? I looked down to see that I did have the same thing. What happened to me?

Barry: "What is...what is happening? What is going on?"

He gets up from the bed.

Cisco: "You were struck by lightning, dude."
