You'll hear from Sebastian soon, calm down

Ominis POV

"This year has been something else," Y/N said as she dug into what smelt like bacon and eggs. Ominis could hear her fill up her plate very generously, and it put a small smile on his face. He could just imagine what his parents would think of that it that was him at the dinner not too long ago.

"You like Hogwarts, or what?" Imelda joked, her mouth full.

They had terrible manners, but it was amusing to Ominis. The two girls had come quite close in the last couple months, and it made him feel okay. Sure, Sebastian wasn't here and that made his gut wrench painfully every time he thought about it, but for now, at breakfast, he could try and push it aside.

"Imagine you two were brought up with my family," Ominis griped, lifting the fork to his mouth and politely taking a bit of a sausage. "You would've been thrown out before they taught you to eat properly."

"Oh, you're so posh," said Y/N, in a silly posh British accent. Imelda giggled.

"You're so rude!" Imelda laughed, and Ominis heard her playfully slap Y/N. The two wouldn't stop bustling each other around, until a loud voice came from the stand at the front of the Great Hall.

Everyone went silent as Headmaster Black spoke.

"Students! It has been another year at Hogwarts, and again none of you have learnt anything worthwhile! Sometimes I wonder why any of us come to this wretched place, but yet we still do. Besides that point, I should add that we thank Professor Fig, again, for everything he did for us and our school this year," ominis heard Y/N make a small sound of agreement.

"Let's make next year better, shall we?" he asked. Ominis wondered why he always spoke like that, he always drawled. Not very interesting.

"Headmaster!" Imelda's light voice popped up. "I'm sure you-"

"I know what you're going to ask, Miss Reyes," the Headmaster sounded as though he'd rolled his eyes. Ominis felt Imelda sag next to him. "I will announce what's happening with Quidditch at the start of next year. For now, I do not want to keep you any longer. The faces of you children overwhelm me. I've had enough of you for a year. So long." He dismissed them hurriedly and everyone started to walk out.

"Hold my hand," Imelda said to Ominis, her tone grumpy. "Stupid Headmaster. He better bring back Quidditch next year, or I'm moving schools."

"Where to?" Y/N joked. "Beauxbatons?"

"Where's that?" Imelda asked.

Y/N scoffed. "I've been part of this world for a year and I know more than you. It's the school for witches in France."

"Oh yes, the one where you have to look like a model to get in," Imelda tried to stifle a laugh and Ominis squeezed the girls hand.

"You'd get in straight away," he told her, and he heard her smile.

"Oh stop it," she replied, and Y/N slapped Ominis' shoulder, playfully.

"Yeah Ominis, I can taste my bacon and eggs," she made a fake vomit sound and he heard her footsteps start walking towards the exit. Ominis felt his face flush and he leant down to kiss Imelda on the cheek but got her on the eyebrow instead. She giggled and pulled him closer to peck him on the lips.

"You're shorter than I remember," he teased, poking her in the side. "There I was thinking that was your cheek. Not being in the air all the time has compressed your spine."

Imelda only laughed, pulling him closer to her as they walked towards the courtyard.

"Are we going to Hogsmeade?" Imelda asked, once the three had collected their trunks from the dormitories.
