Chapter 27- Show Me How

"Heizou..." Y/n mumbled sadly then took his hand in hers, "...I don't know about you, but I know I will-"

Heizou pulled her closer and had her lay on top of him before he let out a sigh, "If you ever get married, how would you want to be proposed to?"

"I don't really care...As long as my mom is there, I'm fine. What about you?" Y/n stated as she was making small braids with Heizou's hair while he was staring at the ceiling

"I don't want my cousin to be there, that's for sure. Other than that, hmm...I don't know"

Y/n rolled off of him and sat up, "Is there something wrong? You've been acting strange eversince my parents came to Mondstadt"

"Nothing's wrong-"

"You're my lavender melon, I'm your naku weed, right? We don't keep things from each other, it's what we promised"

"Do you really wanna know? Right now?"

"Yes! I do!"

"Okay then" Heizou said then got up and walked to the closet, rummaging in his pile of items, "If you really want to know, then I'll tell you. It'll get a lot of stress off my chest!"

"Heizou.. What's going on?"

"I am stressing and depressing over the fact that...I don't know how to propose to you!" He said as he pulled out a small box from his pile of clothes

"I can help you bu- Wait, WHAT?!"

"I want it to be perfect, but I can't possibly make it perfect! So I have no idea what to do!" Heizou laughed then held Y/n's hand, sat on one knee, and opened the box which had the golden ring that was embedded with diamons in.

"I don't know what to do...so just...Will you marry me, Y/n?"

"So that's what you were stressing over..? Stupid lavender melon..." Y/n fell on her knees and looked down as tears started streaming down her face. She looked up to Heizou with a huge smile on her face, "Yes! Yes! 100 times yes! I will marry you!"

Heizou's face had a smile plastered onto his face then pulled Y/n into a tight hug.

They were both overjoyed.

Words couldn't possibly begin to express how great they felt.

Y/n was crying.

Heizou was trying not to cry with her.

He pulled away then held his wife's soft hands in his before sliding the gold ring on her finger.

He smiled at her

and she smiled back

then they leaned in for a kiss.

You're probably screaming, kicking your feet, twirling your hair, and all that.

And I'm worried because I don't know what to do with this book now.

"There you are! I heard from Varka that you came back for the Windblume festival, but I couldn't find you anywhere" M/n said as she walked up to Pantalone who was ordering food from Good Hunter

"My apologies, M/n, I was planning to come by later, but it seems you found me first" Pantalone smiled as M/n took his hand in hers

"I know you don't like surprises, so I'll tell you what I have planned for us this Windblume" Pantalone said then M/n turned to him

"Mhm, go ahead-" "I'm going to propose to you in public so you accept due to social pressure"

And they lived happily ever after.

Finally oh my god- 😭 We got to this point after 27 chapters, 8 months, and 4 mental breakdowns.

Now that I made you and Heizou get married, look at this.

isnt he a pretty boy? I love him a lot but his eng voice is- Its fine. We just play w/ Japanese voiceovers cuz he sounds like a cute gentle boi

This is a modern book of the Sumeru gang in which Tighnari eventually adopts Collei and Cyno is her unofficial dad cuz he said so- I have the idea and everything but enough motivation or jokes to write it :D
