Eva didn't know how long she was there but she knew at one point she had nodded off; she had watched Ominis just sit in his armchair, feigning interest in the book as he ran his fingers over the words
"Are you going to untie me yet?" Her arms felt heavy, her bare chest had adjusted to the temperature and thankfully had warmed back up
"I could, but you would just do it again. Maybe I should tie you up there every night" Eva was horrified at that thought, the floor was uncomfortable on her legs. They felt numb, her back ached. Yet Ominis picked up at her discomfort, untying her, she rushed to lay flat on the bed, sighing in relief at its comfort. At this point she didn't care that her shirt was ruined, or that she hadn't changed to her pyjamas. Ominis was slower as he changed, her eyes fixed on every little move he made, he was planning something, she knew it.
Whilst he had been an ass, Eva couldn't help herself to lay her head on his chest. His coldness pissed her off in so many ways but she always found herself forgiving him when she could hear the thud of his heart. He may be good at reading people but she knew the beating of his heart didn't lie either, she knew what she did to him.

Poppy had spruced her style up today it seems; yellow skirt, black blouse and her favourite shoes that appeared to have snidgets on the sides. Yet Eva audibly gasped when she realised, Poppy had chopped her hair to above the shoulders, sporting a freshly cut bob
"Oh my gosh Poppy, you cut your hair?"
"I did, I decided I like it short" passing a cup of rose tea to Eva, sipping her own
"It suits you, and the new look"
"Says you! This is very new, honestly you look like a girl version of Ominis besides the hair" she was right; she had braved the wardrobe of clothing that morning, approving of the midnight blue blouse and void black skirt with a pair of shined boots. Smoothing her hair for a elegant but simple bun, clipping a brooch to her waistcoat
"I guess we're all trying something new" giggling in unison. Eva's eyes darted to the floor at Ominis sitting nearby, he was good at acting like he couldn't hear them. Funnily enough she realised Poppy was right, Ominis had picked very similar clothing and left his hair free of the hair products
"Do you want to go to Hogsmeade at lunch Eva? Sirona's invited us to taste some new recipes she's whipped up for food"
"Oh sure! I have to meet Professor Weasley this morning to do that job discussion stuff for what I want to do when we leave, then I'll meet you down here after?" Grabbing her wand and shoving a scone in her mouth she dashed off when realising the time and how late she would be if she didn't get a move on.

"So going by your grades so far, I think you definitely have the potential to apply for Professor Hecat's position, of course she would have to start teaching you from the start of next month on how to prepare for the role, recommended books and so on" Eva beamed in delight
"Wouldn't I need to officially apply to Headmaster Black?" Professor Weasley tucked a loose strand behind her ear and leant closer
"Between me and you dear, I'm the one who hires not him. Plus with Officer Singer speaking highly of what you've done, along with all that happened in your 5th year, your grades being fantastic in those that you need, I see no reason for you not to be hired. You would be a wonderful addition to the Hogwarts staff" handing over parchment detailing a new timetable
"When do I need to start following this schedule Professor?"
"It'll be effective immediately, I'll inform any classes that coincide of you switching. As you can see it's a mixture of your usual lessons, classes that will be you and those who also want a career in some way with it and you'll be watching Professor Hecat teach younger students. You'll be working on mainly her schedule. As you can see on Wednesday you'll have free after lunch, which I recommend you do some studying or see if she has any assignments you need to complete. Along with Fridays you also have free after lunch" tucking it away in her book, Eva felt she was getting on track in a sense, she was shadowing to start working, granted it was still in Hogwarts which is where she was trying to get away from. But she reasoned she could make it work. Her face must have shown some gloom when she thought of what would happen to Ominis after this year, would it be wrong to offer him to stay with her or would it be too forward, maybe she should ask Poppy to consider moving in with her.
"Are you okay?" Placing down her quill, it resembled the phoenix feather Eva gifted her after Deeks information helped her rescue the magnificent creature, eye gleaming over her crescent glasses
"Yes Professor, I was just thinking about the cottage. Since I'll be moving into it after this year, how it'll be lonely in a sense"
"Well hopefully it won't be too lonely, I know Poppy will be residing nearby as she's applying to be a substitute with us for Care of Magical Beasts. I believe Amit is opening an astrology store with Samantha too" weakly smiling at Professors attempt at comfort.
