The boys watched as the fire consumed the tower, slowly shrouding the tower in thick black smoke and bright orange and yellow flames. Yeonjun took a deep breath, should relaxing and his face visibly turning from one of panic and fear, to one of calm. He nodded in thanks to the boys as Huening Kai enveloped him in a hug "i'm sorry for not believing you hyung" he said softly, the two other boys also hugging yeonjun, muttering their own words of apology.

They trudged out of the forest, climbing to the top of a derelict building in the ghost town that kept the forest hidden and looked over towards the tower, seeing the smoke rise and join the murky purples and browns of the sky which had now slowly begun to become night. Yeonjun lay back, instantly sitting up, holding his head in pain as he'd hit his head on something jagged. He looked behind him to find a worn down book with a midnight blue leather cover, Yeonjun could just about make out the gold cursive of the deteriorating book, it read :

"Monsieur Noir"

"mr. Black" Yeonjun reiterated to himself as he carefully flipped the pages of the fragile book, only to come across pages he had never read as a child.
