Australia - part 2

"For the ones who didn't know yet, this is Romée, she is my new assistant. Julia is taking on more of my work, bless her." He chuckled and I waved like a damn child.
"Hello everyone, and bless me for holding Toto's purse." I joked and thank the lord everybody laughed and Toto laughed as well but with a raised eyebrow.
"So you are stealing all of the capable assistants?" Lewis Hamilton stood from the couch and walked towards me and I have to be honest, he is beautiful. "If he is being difficult, just tell me and I'll talk to him." Lewis winked "I'm Lewis, how are you Romée?"
"I might need your help already." I joked and shook his hand "I am great, thank you for asking, how are you?" I smiled
"I am also great, exited for this race since we haven't raced in Australia for two years. It is quite hot though." He huffed
"It is hot, I am glad I don't have to wear racing suits anymore." I laughed and he smiled at me
"You raced?" Lewis asked
"Yes, I did, but that's a story for another time I guess." I said and pointed behind him to Angela, he probably needed to be somewhere
"I will hold you to that, it was nice to meet you Romée. Let's have a drink somewhere this weekend." He winked and walked away with Angela

I's so glad he is as nice as he seems on tv. That's one driver down, one more to go. George wasn't here so that is a concern for later.

"Lewis seems to like you." Toto said while walking towards me holding two espresso's and handing me one
"Thank you, and we talked for like a minute." I said and took a sip, delicious. "He wanted to meet up for a drink later this weekend."
"He did? Well, like I said, he seems to like you." He took a sip of his espresso.
"Not Sunday evening though, I have plans on Sunday evening." I said
"You do? Are you meeting up with someone?" Toto looked around the room and avoided eye contact
"Yes, with a team principal that is going to buy me dinner after a tall British driver get's a podium." He finally looked at me and gave me a small smile
"We will see, but keep Monday evening blocked as well for when you are going to cook for me." He chuckled and I grabbed my phone to put it in our agenda as a joke.
"You have your first interview in ten minutes with sky Italia, let's head down to the paddock and get your media assistant." I said and he smiled at me
"You are born for this." He smiled and we put our cups in the sink and walked out of the motorhome. Toto's media assistant was already waiting downstairs and took him with him towards the paddock and just followed them.

I took out my phone to take some notes while they talked to the presenters of sky Italia and stayed out of their way while filming. Toto looked over their head every once in a while to check on me, a wink or a smile captivating me. I don't speak Italian so I didn't really listen to the interview much but I tried to pay attention to the rest. After ten minutes they were about done and we walked to the English sky sports team and met up with Ted that was going to film a segment of his notebook and asked some question to Toto.

"Welcome to the media circus." A voice interrupted my peace and I quickly turned around and was greeted by George Russel "I'm sorry! I didn't mean to scare you!" He panicked a bit
"No you didn't, I wasn't paying enough attention." I laughed and held out my hand. "Romée Pierce."
"I should have coughed or something, nice to meet you Romée, I am George." He shook my hand and turned to stand next to me
"Toto is almost done with Ted, then he is all yours if you need him." I said
"No thank you, I saw you standing here and though I would introduce myself, Lewis said you would be here."
"Well, nice to meet you George, how are you feeling about this weekend?"
"We need to look at how the car progresses, if it is even going to progress. But Lewis and myself need to do our best to make sure it's not us." He said
"It's not you, I think everybody knows that. You are outperforming the car, even more so than lewis."
"Thank you, you are too kind."
"She is?" Toto joined us and I roll my eyes at him.
"She is kind, yes." George said to Toto and turned back to me. "Are you joining us for team dinner? To celebrate that we are back in Australia."
"I would love to George, thank you."
"Great, then I will see you both tonight." George smiled and left
"The dinner wasn't in our agenda, is it in your private agenda?" I asked, panicking a little since I had no clue
"No, I think they just set it up." Toto said and sensed my change of behaviour. "You have access to my private agenda Romée, it wasn't in there as well, it's okay." He rand his hand up my arm and we walked back towards the motorhome
