haeyeon slowly trailed down the slope to the main gate where she saw jaemin waiting
his back pressed against the cold metal, his hair in a mess, his eyes squinting from the wind and his collared shirt opened

"took you long enough.. let's go" he pushed himself off the gate, shoving his hands in his pocket as they went in the direction of their home
it was halfway back to their houses, but jaemin hasn't said a single word to her

sighing, she decided to break the ice. "so.. what did you want to talk about?" haeyeon peeked at jaemin who just looked at the floor
haeyeon started to get impatient as she asked again, this time stopping in her tracks
"if you aren't going to talk, why did you ask to walk home with me..?"
hearing this, jaemin also stopped in his tracks, and turned, walking straight at her

their lips touched and just like the first time, there were those little intense sparks continuously exploding in her tummy
she fell into the kiss instantly, her hands crawled from his chest to his nape, wrapping them tightly,
before remembering all that he did to her and what she's doing to her brother, so she pulled away, pushing him off her
"what are you doing???! am i a joke to you? why did you suddenly kiss me? am i just a second option to you?"
jaemin took a deep breath, "is that what you really think..? that you're just a second option to me?"
she caught her breath, "oh i don't know?! what am i supposed to think jaemin? i wouldn't know what you're feeling, so.. please tell me"

he placed his hand on her jaw, caressing her cheek with his thumb. "god, you're so beautiful" he said before leaning in to capture her lips once again
both their eyes closed as they fell into the kiss
but this time, it was slow. it was soft. it was gentle. it was.. passionate, so many emotions into one kiss
needless to say, she loved every moment of it
slowly pulling away, jaemin gazed into haeyeon's eyes, "do you still think you're a second option?"
"hmmm... i don't think i understand, could you show me again?" haeyeon cheekily smiled at him as she laced her hands around his neck, interlocking her fingers
jaemin shook his head, "maybe this time i can tell better than i can show.."
leaning down, she closed her eyes as he smirked, bending down to her ear level
"i like you lee haeyeon" he finally said, before pulling away to see the expression on her face. "is that clear enough?"
haeyeon giggled, "you're cute when you're angsty"
"i'm hungry, let's get something to eat" she grinned, walking away but a hand grabbed hers and pulled her back
"hey hey hey.. where do you think you're going? where's my i like you too jaeminor something" he raised an eyebrow at her
she let out a chuckle, "it doesn't work that way.."
"it so does" wrapping his arms around her waist, he used his fingers to initiate a tickle attack, as she squirmed in his hold
"j-jaem! stop... my tummy hurts" that was all the words he could make out as she laughed.
he pouted, "say it back... or i'll just continue, i can do this all day you know?" ending off with a smirk, "fine, i'll say it back. but first you have to let go of me"
he was hesitant to do it. knowing her, she would run. and that's what she did, as soon as he let her go, she dashed off with a smile
"come and catch me if you want an answer!" she taunted, only a few metres away from him
"oh don't worry princess, i will catch you. and i will make you answer"
