"Man, I'm starving! How much have I slept?!", she raised on her elbows and scanned the room, "Damn, what time is it?"
Izuku checked his All Might watch, "Half past three."
"In the afternoon?", she widened her eyes.
"Yes, Len. You slept something like seventeen hours", he made the math.
Mariko appeared behind the couch, a large bowl of curried chicken and rice in her hands, "Here, eat something."
Izuku reached for the bowl, passing it to Len once she was normally seated on the couch, together with the chopstick the old lady left too.
"Thanks, Mariko!", Lenora called her, starting to eat. Izuku let her devour the meal, sitting down next to her, and scrolling through his phone; he was searching for something for Lenora to see.
"Hey, watch what's on every tabloid!", he flipped the screen to the girl and Len leaned toward him. On it there was Katsuki and Len's battle frame, her backflipped in the air smirking down at him and the boy with his palms aimed up at her, his grin incredibly visible.
"No way! Also, that's a cool photo, isn't it?", she stuffed more chicken in her mouth, moving her chin to the phone.
"It's even cooler what the articles say about your fight!", Izuku saved the photo with a click, sending it straight to Lenora, who smiled at him, "Here: 'Shimizu and Bakugou's fight was one the most surprising one-on-one we've seen not only during this Sports Festival but also in the past ones. The tenancy, the quirks, their bond, everything was astonishing! My congratulations go to both Shimizu and Bakugou. Bravo!'"
Her heart was thumping fast in her chest, "Holy shit, that was a lot to take."
Izuku grinned, passing an arm around her shoulder, taking her closer. Len had just the time to set the bowl on the coffee table before wrapping her arms around Izuku's waist and snuggling on his chest.
"Thanks for being here", she thanked him, and Izuku's other arm raised, finding its place around the girl's shoulders
"No, I should thank you. Without you I would never make it this far", that confession made Lenora's heart wretched.
She patted his chest, "If you're here now, it's because you worked hard for this. I just stayed at your side, believing in you."
"I promise I'll never let you down, Len", he mumbled, his face squished in her hair, tears streaming down his face.
"You could never, Izuku. Never."
And that's how they passed the rest of the day; they read articles, commented on their fights, Len helped Izuku take notes, ate dinner, and watched silly love comedy for which Izuku cried and Len laughed.
The importance was staying together, enjoying each other presence, and living one peaceful day side by side.
Those days off passed fast, and they were back in class in an instant.
"LEN! YOU'RE ALL WET! DIDN'T YOU BRING AN UMBRELLA?!", Izuku screamed to her, watching the girl making her way into the class, her hair all fuzzy from the rain and her uniform humid, like she tried to dry it somehow.
Lenora widened her eyes, sending him a deadly look, "Did I look like I bring one, huh?!"
Izuku shut his mouth quickly and Len used her air rune to dry her a bit more her clothes, the manipulation rune already working on her head, fixing her braids.
"Dumbass", was Katsuki's comment when she sat down at her desk.
"I hate you."
Bright pink arms wrapped around her neck, "I still can't believe people recognize us from the television! Everyone wanted to talk to me all the way here!", Mina chimed, pressing her cheek on Lenora's fresh braided hair.
