The Wolves

Get your mind out the gutter
And head out the sky
Put it down on your shoulders
And look at the life you're missing
Soon you'll be reminiscing

So swallow your pride
Get your head outta the sky
When the wolves come to eat you
You'll stay you have no kind of health
So they'll run away and leave you
And swallow your wealth

Get your head on your shoulders
And steady yourself
The wolves will come to eat you
And swallow your wealth
No reminiscing
It's life you've been missing
No entertainment
What'll you do when the wolves come to swallow
All of your blatant
Riches of silver and gold
When the wolves come to eat you
You'll realize you didn't get old
You'll realize your life's been sold

And it's getting old

So swallow your pride
Get your head outta the sky
When the wolves come to eat you
You'll say you have no kind of wealth

And, sure, you'll take a beating
Looking at the life you've been leading

The wolves will come and eat you instead
You'll gaze eagerly at the place you're being lead

You'll see the place you were promised at last
Out of sight above you, chances far in the past

Get your mind out the gutter
And head out the sky
When the gnashing of teeth gets too much
You might contemplate your lies

The wolves will come to eat you
And there's no where to hide
