The sun sparkled a reflection on the riverside as it dawned down for the day. Lucy stood happily and the grassy hill along the side of Natsu. "Its so beautiful!" A bright smile rose on her face. Natsu blushed standing with his arms stretched up behind his head. "Its nice..." Taking in the scent of the nature around him. Erza, Gray and Happy sat by a fire. Camp was set up below them but the sight of the sunset was irresistible, Lucy needed to capture its beauty. This was the night Natsu planned on confessing his feelings to the gorgeous woman who became his closest friend. Lately they have been closer than ever, but he wanted more than just her friendship. It was love he truely desired. Her smooth skin he craved to touch, her long blonde hair drove him crazy and her smile; oh he would do anything to see her smile.
"L...Lucy...?" Natsu took a step closer next to her. His heart beat faster, he never knew another way to go about this." I was wondering... is there anyone you like?" He felt a little warm, his cheeks began to match the same color as his hair.
In shock Lucy's eyes widened. He broke her train of thought by his out of the blue words but she too began to blush."I guess there is someone do like," She felt confident around him but also nervous. What if he didn't like her back? "IguessIsortofreallylikeyouormorelikeloveyou..." She spoke quickly squeezing her eyes shut. Then a sudden warmth collided with her lips. Taken by surprise her eyes blinked opened to see a beet red Natsu. She accepted it and she fell back into the kiss. His lips were soft, sweet and so gentle. A sudden hot passion overwhelmed their bodies. Natsu brought his hands to draw the slender girl by her waits and Lucy wrapped her hand behind his neck. "I love you Natsu..." Taking a breath she spoke.
"I love you too, and I promise...I'll always be there for you. No matter what happens." Natsu nuzzled his face into his favorite lady's neck.
