Chapter 3: Lazy

Finally Friday which means.. no classes! I don't gotta get up and get ready til 12, I can stay in bed and watch Pll and Scandal. Magically got all my work done so don't gotta worry about that either, thank the Lord.

I go to Hulu and put on Scandal as soon as I wake up. I just started four days ago and already on season 2. Man why didn't anyone tell me to watch this show sooner? The first thing I do when I wake up now is watch Scandal. In need of a man obsessed with me the way Fitz is obsessed with Liv.

While halfway through one of the episodes, Diamond busts in my room. "What you doing?" She closes the door and sits on my bed.

"Watching my show." I say as I pause Scandal.

"That's what you plan on doing the whole day?" She says.

"Yeah, I don't got nun else to do so why not?"

"Unt unn not you ain't even brush yo teeth yet." Diamond covers her nose. "Girl it's 12 o'clock."

"Hush I was gonna get ready after I finish this episode." I laugh.

"So this what you gon do for the rest of the weekend?" Diamond twists her lips.

"Dime what the fuck you want?"

"What you tryna do tomorrow?" A big smile forms on her face.

"Why?" I roll my eyes and sit up.

"My homeboy having a lil get together or what not. Tryna slide?"

"Girl what fucking homeboy?"

"Mmcht, my homeboy. You tryna come or not?"

"Lemme think about it." I say pulling the covers over me and unpausing Scandal.

"Don't think too long hoe." Dime gets off my bed and walks out. Now I can finish my show in peace.

I lied. I didn't get up after finishing an episode.. it took four episodes for me to finally get up. I turn the tv off and set the remote on my nightstand. With Roku remotes, them bitches can disappear so fast so I always gotta make sure I put it in a place where I can remember where I put it.

I grab my towel and robe from out of my closet and head to the bathroom. The bath and toilet is in a separate room as the sink and I can't lie, the room is small as shit. But you can't expect more from a college dorm I guess.

I do my regular routine. Wash myself with a loofa then wash my ass with a wash cloth. Get out the shower and do my skin care. Cera Ve, Lumeria serum, Shea Moisture African Black soap moisturizer, and most importantly, SUNSCREEN. I don't care how much melanin you have, put on some damn sunscreen.

Next I brush my teeth twice, rinse my mouth with mouthwash and then start on my hair.

See, I'm not one of them hair influencers that get wigs every mother freaking day. I will wear these wigs for a month straight cuz who got money to just be buying wigs? Not in this economy baby.

I put on a cropped tank top and a some plain beige bodycon shorts.

At this point I don't know what to do because Scandal just pissed me off so I'm taking a break. I'm at the point in Pretty Little Liars where it starts getting a little boring so that's dead.

I feel like all shows have that point where the show starts getting boring. I don't know why but it usually be around season 5 in every show, don't quote me on it.
