A hand ruffled their hair tenderly, and (Y/N) turned to see their older brother smiling warmly at them.
"Do you like our new home, (n/n)?"
(Y/N) nodded in agreement, taking in the sight of the house.
The house resembled a traditional Japanese home, its age evident yet well-maintained. Despite its charm, (Y/N) wouldn't be surprised if it was haunted.
"You start unpacking your things now, your going to school in a week"

Blushing in embarrassment at their grumbling stomach, (Y/N) realised it was nearly 7:45 pm, and they hadn't eaten all day. With the refrigerator empty and no snacks in sight, (Y/N) decided to head to the nearby convenience store.
Quickly selecting a large black sweater, baggy white pants, and thick black converse, (Y/N) prepared to leave, leaving a note for their older brother:
