chapter 1: Emily's hurt
"hey guys" a soft voice whispered a young blonde was leaning against the door flame of the dojo
"hey em" smiled everyone.
Emily walked into the dojo and grabbed a sword
"Emily need a training partner" asked Jayden,
" sure jay I'd be happy to train with you " smiled Emily "ready"
"yep" Jayden and Emily started off sparring,
as they were sparring Emily's mind faded away into her thoughts, she was remembering how sick Serena was, when her mind started clearing, she didn't see Jayden swing his sword at her side till she felt the pain. as she fell to her knee's clutching her now bruising side tightly, she gritted her teeth together.
"EMILY!" Jayden yelled as he immediately rushed toward her on the ground " sorry em I'm so sorry" mumbled Jayden as he looked at her for any sign of injury.
mike and mia rushed over " its okay" Emily assured. " are you sure?" Jayden asked as he grabbed her hand to help her up " yeah " she mumbled.
As she was getting up she felt the tight pull of her side and winced "perfect" Emily whispered. with a fake smile on her face to hide the pain she thanked jayden and reassured him she was fine. Emily tried to stand up fully without help but soon realized the pain was worst than she thought
"I hope i didnt crack a rib", she didn't realize she was falling till Jayden grab her by her waist before she could fall fully.
mike and mia rushed over to them to help "Emily you are not okay" mia said stating the obvious,
" I guess not" Emily stated with a sheepish smile, she just barely got out the sentense before mentor Ji runs in yelling that a nighlok monsters are attacking city hall.
"COME ON GUYS LETS GO" yelled Emily
"are you sure?" everyone questioned as they feard for there young friend
"yes"she faked a smile " I'm okay guys I swear"
"okay guys lets go Then" Jayden says as he gives emily a funny look before they start running to city hall.
