belly was sitting in her room, sowing one of her pajama pants that ripped unintentionally. she still hadnt talked to matt and it had been three days since it happened and she was very worried. she knew he had woken up, but she didnt know what his condition was.
she heard a knock on her room door, and told the person to come in.
"hey" matt walks in the room
"holy shit" belly stands up, walking towards him "matt your eye"
"its nothing" he shrugs
"its a lot, matt" she answers, putting her hand on his cheek
"it was worth it, i did it to defend you" he purses his lips
"but you didnt have to do that" she tells him
"i did it because i love you, okay? i cant stand to see you get hurt" he looks down
"i love you too, and thank you" she lifts his head "your lip is cut too?" she pouts
"yeah it really hurts" he smiles
"too bad" she shrugs
"alright. im leaving then" he sighs
"baby you know that me kissing you will not cure you right?"
"i dont care"
belly smiles and gives him a peck on the lips, causing him to smile again
"hey" he puts his hands on her waist "can i take you out on a date?"
"really? even with your black eye?" she smiles
"yeah, i mean youve gotta make use of those date dresses dont you?" he smiles back
"well yeah"
"so tomorrow, seven thirty?" he asks
"sure" she answers "but can you stay over today?"
"i dont want to interrupt your sowing session" he tilts his head
"it can wait."
belly and matt cuddled in her bed, her hand in his messy hair
"do you know the meaning of a single rose?" matt looks at her
"no, not really" belly shrugs
"it means love at first sight. thats why i gave it to you" he smiles
belly pouts and kisses his forehead, causing him to blush slightly
"youre so cute"
"shut up" he turns to the other side
"in complimenting you!" she gasps
"hey izzy?" matt looks at her
"yes?"
"can we tell social media that were going out?"
belly stays silent, not knowing what to answer
"do you really want to?" belly asks
"maybe if we did it people would respect you more, i think?" matt reasons "dont feel pressured to do it, baby, its just a suggestion"
"uhm. sure" she says "when though?"
"right now" he answers "is that okay?"
"yeah. but only you post it"
