a week later!

matt pulled up to his therapists office, already five minutes late. he walked inside and knocked on her office door

"come in!" sarah says

"sorry im late" matt walks inside, closing the door

"have a seat" sarah nods

matt looks at the sofa for a minute and sits down, tapping his fingers on his lap

"could you tell me why youre late?" sarah asks

"i was dropping a friend off at her house" matt shrugs "sorry"

"no, its alright" sarah smiles gently "whats been going on with the girl?"

"well, she showed up at my house a week ago to see my brothers supposedly and well, there was another girl there" he looks down

"and who is this other girl?" sarah asks

"someone who hurt, can i just say her name?" he asks

"of course you can"

"someone who hurt isabel"

"isabel davis" sarah sighs

"yeah" matt says "wait how do y-"

"i talked to her last week" sarah says "matthew the girl is not doing her best, thats all i can say. she had a reason to do that"

"i kn-"

"and you being with a girl who broke isabel is not gonna help you win her back" sarah reprimands "listen. i will always be here for you to talk to me. but i am also here for isabel and every other one of my clients. and from what you guys have told me it seems what you need is each other. you two are to puzzle pieces who fit right together"

"you have a lot of experience with this dont you?"

"i have four teenage daughters, matt, i know more than you think"
