Like lonely shadows upon distant walls
they danced without the flickering midst
of the world behind their drawn blinds
they had no meaning of time
merely the touch of skin upon lips, eyes and fingertips
and how they hummed in pleasure
as if planets collided under her
eyelashes
from the way he touched her making her freckles constellate
but she looked at him like broken waves
from the highest cliff.
their breaths clashed against necks and hipbones
passion stained sheets, tangled limbs
and swallowed breaths upon lovers lips
this is how they spent their time
beside each others bones
