Tony sat against his bathroom door. His view was drilled onto the bathroom tub, his brown eyes being bloodshot and out of focus. The man's knees were brung to his chest. His arms shook with anxiety as his heart raced. His whole body was sweaty and clammy.

The inventor knew he had to take a shower. He just couldn't bring himself to do so. Every time he would step foot into the water, his mind would betray him.

He could feel the ice-cold water drip on his shoulders. He could feel his face being dunked repeatedly. He could feel the liquid race down his spine, coating his back.

Tears started to pour down the billionaires face. Broken sobs escaped the man's mouth as he struggled to get air into his body. His whole body shook. Or at least, that's what it felt like. In reality, he was getting plenty of air. His mind and body just weren't cooperating.

Down in the lab, Bruce was figeting with a mechanic. Placing the screwdriver down, he glanced at the time. '1:37𝘢𝘮' "Are you kidding me? How did time pass so quickly?" The man quietly whispered to himself. Popping a few of his joints, he realized how thirsty he suddenly was.

Bruce rose from his spinny chair and quietly left the lab. Heading towards the kitchen for a glass of water, he passed Tony's room. Just as he was about to step foot in the kitchen, his ears caught the sound of the other man's cries.

A worried expression etched across the scientist's face. He raised one of his arms and gently knocked on the other's door.

"Tony?" Bruce lightly called out. He didn't want to wake the rest of the team at such an ungodly hour.

𝘯𝘰 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘱𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘦.

Concerned, Bruce invited himself into the other man's bedroom. Each room had their own restroom connected.

His soft footsteps patted against the wooden floor as the scientist realized the sounds were coming from the bathroom.

Bruce once again knocked on Tony's door. Sure, he had invited himself in the other man's room, but he had knocked first.

Bruce could hear his friends strangled breathing and panicked gasps. He sighed lightly before inviting himself in once again. He then spotted his friend now leaning over the nearby toilet, seemingly heaving.

"Oh.. Tony." Bruce mumbled. He quickly sat next to the other and placed one of his hands on his back. He then rubbed slow circles on Tony's back, no longer speaking.

Twenty minutes soon passed before the scientist spoke.

"What's happened, Tony?" His voice sounded like honeysuckle, almost too quiet to hear.

Tony didn't verbally respond and just cast his view to the tub.

Bruce caught on, yet didn't mention it. He then looked at the other man. He saw the huge eyebags. Dried tears trailed down the billionaires face.

"How about we just to to bed, yeah?"

Tony leaned his head against Bruce's shoulder, his whole weight shifting onto the other man.

Bruce was the first to start rising from the cold tiled floor. His arms were wrapped around Tonys, helping the other stand up.

Laying Tony down on his bed, Bruce turned to leave. A hand soon reached out and grabbed Bruce's arm, pulling him back.

"Stay.." Tony Muttered.

Bruce softly smiled before sitting down at the foot of the bed.

Bruce just sat at the bed until Tony fell asleep. Which took a while. It's been an extremely long time. So long that Bruce started to count the tiles on the wooden floor.
