Hey everyone,
To address the elephant in the room, yes it has been 5 years since I last updated. I know that many of you had been left on a cliffhanger for ages and unfortunately many of you probably won't even know that I plan on actually writing again. :(
So what's with the random decision to update years later?
Well with the most recent seasons of Rick and Morty, I've felt like there's been so much great content to include in my story. Unfortunately, with this flood of new content means that many of my old chapters are now not following the canon universe or are outdated.
It may take me a while to update the story to fit with current day Rick and Morty, but I believe it is doable.
The other issue that I am having with continuing is that after maturing as a writer and as a person, I am seeing that my old style of writing and storytelling is very juvenile and honestly cringe. I may do some "retconning" or rewriting of scenes I find to be extremely jarring when rereading. So watch out for those changes in case you feel there to be inconsistencies within the story moving forward.
This is also a warning that my writing style may be completely different in general, as I have just gotten back into reading fanfiction again and have developed a new style thanks to others.
It feels really weird to be updating randomly in 2023, but better late than never right?
This is a test author note to see if anyone is even engaged anymore. Please leave a comment or note if you actually do want me to finish this story and I will work on updating for you guys again.
