Sage walked through the unusual environment. The grass was a dark turquoise, all the flowers had thorns on them and she hadn't heard a noise, coming from any animal.
Was she dreaming? None of this was real right? She has to be dreaming, there was no way she wasn't when there's blue sun in the sky. She was totally dreaming.
But what if she's dead? What if she died from exhaustion and this some kind of in-between? In her dreams something crazy would always happen, but here it's just dead silent.
'Calm down, deep breaths.' She told herself. She continued walking down a pathway.

Sage was sure she passed the same tree three times now. 'God dammit.' She internally hissed to herself. She's never gonna get out of this fucking forest! The blue sun was still shining as bright as it was when she got here as if mocking her.
She glared at it... which was a bad idea since it's still the Sun. Ouch. She deflated and sat on the ground. 'Focus.' She took deep breaths.
"-and I was like 'there's no way I could do that!'" That wasn't Sage's voice... that could only mean- people! Sage sprinted to the direction of the voice.
"Then what did he say?" Said another voice laced with curiosity. It only encouraged Sage run faster. 'Almost there...'
Sage pushed a bush out of her way. She could hear the voices getting closer, she continued running, but then... she tripped over a root and fell on her face... she's never been the lucky one.
"Like can you believe it! I mean how could he- GAH!" Yelled the same voice she heard before she fell flat on her face.
Sage looked up, she saw a girl with a red pixie cut, emerald green eyes and a surprised look on her face. Sage was in fact, not surprised, who wouldn't be? A girl coming out of the bushes should be pretty surprising, but what confused Sage was the fact the girl had pointy ears...
"Abby?! What happened- whoa..." Said a voice coming from behind the red head.
Coming into focus another person, it was a guy with dark skin, dreadlocks (which were tied up) and he also had pointy ears... weird.
After a moment of silence, Sage finally said something.
"Um, hi?"

"So, you're saying that you're from a different world?" Asked Abby to the deformed elf, like really? She doesn't mean to be mean but it's just... weird.
"I was debating whether If I'm dreaming or dead... and I hope it's not the latter..." responded the girl while curling her dark hair and her brown eyes moving place to place. She was probably nervous.
"Well, you're definitely not dreaming 'cause I feel real." Said Sean. Abby nudged him, and shot him a 'dude really?' face. The raven-haired girl shivered. "Not that you're dead dead or anything!" Sean tried to save it but by the looks of it he failed. The girl still looked scared.
Abby got up, nothing a little food can't fix! She looked around and... perfect! She took something out a bush. 'This fruit was so delicious, it can make anyone feel better!' She handed it to the weird looking stranger.

The girl jumped in fear. "W-what is that thing?!"
Abby and Sean shared a confused look, then the dark- skinned elf spoke. "It's just fruit, it's not like it's a monster or something!" Sean walked closer to her, fruit in hand, that wasn't convincing because she tried to climb a tree. Emphasis on tried, she slid down the tree.
Abby sighed. "Look," she grabbed the fruit from Sean's hands and walked towards her. "I'm going to eat it and nothing bad is going to happen to me, okay?" The weird elf looked at her, arms and legs still hugging the tree. Abby ate one, and her lips curved upwards.
"See." Abby handed one of the fruits to her. The raven-haired girl hesitantly grabbed one and put it in her mouth. She looked surprised and smiled a bit while swallowing.
"It wasn't that bad now, was it... umm"
"Sage. Sage Daniels."
"Well, I'm Abby Evergreen," Then Abby pointed at Sean. "And this buffoon is Sean, he is also, unfortunately, an Evergreen." She said while smirking.
"Hey!" Yelled Sean.
Sage chuckled. "Nice to meet you guys."
