Y/NS POV
I wake up cuddling into Kate and to say I had major butterflies would be an understatement.
Kate wakes up and looks at me and smiles
"Morning beautiful" I try not to blush at the name but I can't keep back the smile forming on my lips
"Glad I have that affect on you y/l/n" I roll my eyes knowing she's just teasing me about last night now
"MORNING" Lila screams and bursts in, and instantly smirks when she sees us in bed
"Oooo same bed huh?" She teases and me and Kate just roll our eyes as I get out of bed to jump in the shower
"Can I join?" Kate smirks
I roll my eyes "you'd be lucky bishop"
I quickly shoot her a look as I swear I just heard her mutter something like 'I know' but I shake it off and get in the shower anyway
After my shower I get dry and changed into some clothes. I walk downstairs to see Kate,Lila and mason talking while having breakfast
"Morning y/n I made you a plate of bacon,eggs,sausage,toast and beans" Laura smiles and hands me a plate
"Thanks Laura" I smile sitting down with the others
"So what did you two get up to in the same bed last night" mason grins making the word same stand out
Me and Kate roll our eyes while the other two just laugh "nothing happened we just slept" I say
"Yeah yeah sure sure, we all know u wish for more than that" mason said whispering the last part so only I could hear
"Shut up man" I smile and hit his arm
"So any plans for today?" Laura asks while cleaning up the kitchen
We all look at eachother with questioning looks "no I don't think so" Lila says
"Oh well you could always find something to do we are in New York after all maybe the avengers will visit later but if not you can just chill out here" Laura suggests I love the way she said 'maybe the avengers will visit later' so calmly when other people would scream at the thought of meeting them
"Yeah sounds good" Kate smiles
My phone goes off next to me and I see
*Miranda has unblocked you*
My heart drops at the sight, Miranda was my first girlfriend well now ex girlfriend obviously. But after a while she turnt toxic obviously I'd speak to mason about it and he doesn't like her one bit then I finally had the courage to break up with her but she blocked me straight after I didn't complain though
Mason notices my phone and his eyes instantly go on my own waiting for my reaction to see if he'd have to make a big fake story and get me out the room seeming as I don't deal with sudden changes well and having an ex that treated you like shit after a while suddenly unblock you when you thought you had everything figured out is a big change
The other two notice my heart drop "hey y/n are you okay?" Kate asks
I smile trying to hide my millions of thoughts that felt like they'd go everywhere in the moment "yeah I'm good, I think we should just stay in today do something in the garden and maybe see the avengers if they visit later"
"Sounds good" they all agree, mason nudges me and mouths if I'm okay while Kate and Lila are talking to which I just nod my head giving him a reassuring smile.
