"Bye bye" I said sad as I waved my best friend Kate bye
She waved back sadly and we drove off after saying out goodbyes
Kate's POV 12 years ago
"Bye" I mouth to y/n before I see them drive off I turn around and hug my mum crying
"Don't worry honey you'll see her again I know you will" my mum comforted
Y/NS POV today
"Thanks for the help Mason" I thank my best friend
"No problem y/n remember to stay in touch" mason says
"Ye ofc" that was the one thing I regret not doing after me and my mum moved was staying in touch because now I don't know if I'll ever see Kate again and to be honest I miss her I miss her alot but I'm going back to New York today so maybe I'll see her? Just maybe but it's a big city so I won't get my hopes up
About 9 hours and 50 minutes later I arrive back in New York finally home. I was walking around the streets trying to find a good place to stay when "OW" I shout
"shit I'm so sorry" a man with blonde hair says
"it's ok I should've looked where I was going" I apologise
"hey are you ok? You seem lost?" He says
"Oh um ye I used to live here a while ago but I moved and now I'm back so not quite sure what to do ig"
"Oh um I know a hotel not far from here its quite good and cheap if your interested?" He requests
"Wait really? That'd be great" I asked abit shocked
"Ye ofc it's just up the road" he says
"Ok thank yo-" as I was turning around to thank him I realised he wasn't there he just vanished pretty sure that's not normal
As I walk into the hotel I'm greeted by a woman at the desk "hey this is The New Yorker hotel can I help?"
"Hey I'd like to book a room please"
"Ofc your name?" She asks
"Y/n y/l/n" I reply
"Ok there you go you are room 34 here's the key"
"Ok thank you" I say and go up to my room to take a look.
I open the door and omg it's beautiful much better then my room back at Vienna Marriott hotel and I didn't think I would be saying that anytime soon but anyway I take a look around and see where everything is and get used to it but there is one thing I can't deny and that is the view it's amazing.
After I unpack my stuff I decide to go for a walk just through the streets then I turn down an alley way and everything goes black.
