What if?

In every class that Austin and I had together, we would be seated next to each other or right behind one another. All day we were texting each other so we wouldn't get yelled at by the teacher. It was 8th period already and I was somewhat glad school was already over. I've made a lot of friends today and it was almost over.

"Wanna hang out today after school?" Austin questioned me.

"Maybe. I don't know, I'll tell you later. Okay?"

"Okay."

"THE FAULT IN OUR STARS!!!!!!!"

"What's that?" Once I read that text I looked over at him sine he was sitting to my left and gave him a death stare.

"ARE YOU KIDDING ME!"

"No. No I'm not."

"I'm disappointed in you. How do we even know eachother?"

He didn't reply until five minutes later with a paragraph long message. "Well it was the first day of of 11th grade and you walked into Honors ELA which we have together. Your beauty caught my eyes the moment you stepped in the room. You scanned the faces in the room and saw me, you couldn't help but stare at my sexy perfection. The teacher began speaking and you sat down. When Mrs. M changed our seats and she put us into alphabetical order. We were right next to each other and started to talk and that is how we know eachother." I started to chuckle and I think the whole class turned to look at me but I didn't bother to look up from my phone.

"😂 Lol wow. So you think I'm beautiful?" I felt my self blush.

"Of corse ;) 😏 "

The bell rang and we stopped texting and started talking. We packed up our things and walked toward our lockers.

"Well for the record I do think your hot," I said with a smirk upon my face.

"How could you not think Im hot?" He said with sarcasm. We talked all the way till we got to our lockers.

When we reached our lockers, his was right next to mine since our last names start with MA and are close, he questioned me ,"So come over?"

"Hmmmm, sure. What's your address so I can come over right after dinner."

"I'll text it to you." I got the text shortly after.

"This is like two blocks away from me."

"We'll then getting there won't be a problem." He closed his locker and started to walk away. Before he was out of view I heard him say "See you then beautiful." I felt myself blush again.

"SEE YA." With that he was out of sight.

I just finished my homework and went downstairs to eat dinner. My mother made spaghetti and meat balls with some side dishes. There wasn't much to eat since like always it was only the two of us. My father died when I was two-years-old of cancer. I can't really say I miss him cause I really never knew him. I do wonder what if he didn't die when I was so young, what would my life be like? My mom always talks about him and from what I hear he sounds like a great guy. I really wish I could of known him.

"How was your day? Did it go better then what you thought?"

"A whole lot better. I made a lot of new friends. I forgot to ask, can I go over a friend's house after dinner."

"Sure. What's your friends name?"

"His name is Austin. He lives two blocks down."

"Okay but you know my rules about boys right?"
