"My hands aren't heavy."

When describing heavy hands, this means the rider is using too much rein pressure such as yanking and being rough with them.

In Horse Racing, this term can be used for a track being muddy and good, in other words, drying out.

You can also use it for draft horses calling them heavy horses for how massive they can be.
