Chapter 8

(the Friday after the thing with Austin)

Niall just dropped me off at my flat cause he had work or something. I found Laura sitting on the couch watching sponge bob

"how old are you?!" I asked jokingly

She jumped up and hugged me

"what's going on where have you been?!" she asked

"it's a long story.." I said

"and???? Tell it!!" she sound too excited

"I don't wanna talk about it." I shook my head

"ok, well I made pizza rolls!" she said smiling

We both went to the kitchen and ate a ton of pizza rolls ( there my favorite)

"ugh, it's a wonder we don't get fat." Laura said running her stomach

"yeah. Hey we should go to the gym." I said

"ohh! Sounds fun!"

We both went to our rooms I grabbed my bag and put on my work out clothes as put a water bottle and swim suit in my bag.

We pulled up at the gym and went inside I set my bag down and we went to the pool. We both swam on the high school team.

We went and sat in the hot tub, no one else was in it.

"hey so do you wanna tell me what happened?" Laura asked

I shook my head, I couldn't bring her into this. whatever this was.

"okay then do you mind telling me how you got those bruises?" she sounded a bit annoyed and worried

"uh I fell down the stairs." I lied and put an arm over the bruises.

"your lying. I can tell." she said but dropped the subject

Later I went to the weight room. I wanted to get a little muscle so I could have somewhat of a chance if something happened and Niall wasn't around.

I jumped up and grabbed the pole and started doing pull-ups,bi may not look strong but I can do about 15 of these and lift pretty heavy. I finished with 15 pull-ups and put on gloves for the punching bag.

I started punching, getting all my anger out with each swing of my fist. I wish I coulda fought back harder, to get away from those guys.

I felt a hand on my shoulder and I swing around and almost punch someone in the face. Harry.

"Jesus Harry," I breathed

"sorry." he laughed "what are you doin here?" he asked

"Niall had work so me and my friend Laura are here." I said

"well you should go home. In sure Austin's people are out looking for you as we speak." he said

I nodded "i'll go tell Laura that I'm ready to leave." I started to turn

"no I can drive you." he said

"ah sure I'm just gonna go get my stuff." I said and walked off towards the locker rooms where I found Laura.

"hey Laura I'm gonna leave now, I'm getting picked up by a friend." I said

"oh cool, see ya later then." she said

I grabbed my stuff and walked back out to Harry who was waiting by the door. He led me out to his car, the van again, and I got in the passenger seat.

"so your okay from the other night? Nothing broken, no blood loss?" his voice held hints of sarcasm

"oh I'm fine just a couple bruises." I said

My phone went off signaling a text from Niall

From Niall: hey babe. I'll be by your place in 20 minutes to pick u up

To Niall: I'm on my way home I could just get dropped off at your house?

Harry looked nervous when I looked at him

"is something wrong?" I asked

"No, it's just.. Never mind." he but his lip

I looked back down at my phone

From Niall: No I wanna go somewhere;)

We got to my house and I got out and thanks Harry

"just be careful." he sounded so concerned

"I will, talk to you later."

I walked into my house and went strait to my room and looked threw my clothes. I started singing 'Just a kiss' by Lady Antebellum

I heard a pounding at my front door And I ran down my hall to get it. Niall walked in looking very hot:) I but my lip and eyed up and down him.

"like what you see?" his voice teasing

I giggled and nod my head. He wore a white t shirt and black pants that fit to his bottom half nicely.

"whet are we going?" I asked

"Its a surprise." he smiled

"what should I wear?" I asked

He bit his lip and went to my room and looked threw my closet while I sat on my bed. He turned around and held out black ripped jeans and a red low-cut T-shirt.

"this?" he asked

I nodded and took them from him and walked to my bathroom before something flew past me and hit the wall by my head. I looked down to see another thong, I turned and looked at Niall who was smiling innocently

"really?" I asked

His smile turned to a pout and his eyes went sad "Fine." I said and walked into the bathroom

I stripped off my clothes and looked at my bruises in the mirror, they were slowly fading, but what was left was a weird greenish purple color.

I put on the rest of my clothes and headed out to Niall who was smiling again.

"you look beautiful." he said and hugged me

He spun me around and placed something around my neck, I faced the mirror again as he did the clasp. I looked down at the necklace, it had a silver heart on it. It was shiny and very pretty. I turned around to hug him

"thank you, I love it." I pecked his lips
