So, a little bit of Explanation For This One, I wanted to make another one-shot, but since this story is still rather new on Wattpad, Requests are rather slow. and so I decided to use a random wheel to pick a random character.

It was your first day at Hopes Peak, You were excited to start, but also nervous, see, you were scouted as The Ultimate Drummer, Drumming is your passion! However you had a hard time making friends, as a medical condition you were diagnosed with when you were young has made you mute. You have tried to speak, but nothing but air comes out. as such, you have had to learn how to use sign language to communicate, and not many people bothered to learn it. So Drumming was really all you had to communicate your feelings with. Little did you know, a new friend was just around the corner.
It was lunch period, when you had wandered to the music room, nobody was inside, however your eyes wandered to the drum set in the center of the room. You entered the room quietly, and sat at the Drum Set. You sat for a moment thinking about how you felt in that particular moment. At that moment you feel anxious, so you began to play, Utilizing a double bass petal for the bass drum. You got into a really quick rhythm, as you slowly close your eyes, you lost yourself in the sound of the drums.
It was then when the door opened, and a certain girl entered, Ibuki had heard you play, and had come to investigate, Ibuki was in awe, the feeling of the music that you were playing was almost a perfect match to what Ibuki played herself, she also noticed you yourself. You Had (H/C) Hair, Wore a (F/C) punk style leather jacket over the Hopes Peak uniform, ripped stockings, a black skirt, and (F/C) Combat Styled Boots.
After you finished playing, Ibuki screamed "THAT WAS AMAZING!" causing you to just about fall off the stool, You then noticed the girl standing by the door. You couldn't help but blush a bit. "So! What's Your Name? I'm Ibuki Mioda, The Ultimate Musician!" Ibuki introduced herself, she was full of energy. You Sign "My Name Is (Y/N) (L/N), The Ultimate Drummer" you thought Ibuki was gonna just leave, as they gave a confused look for just a moment, "Are You Deaf? I noticed you use sign language" Ibuki said, surprising you greatly, Usually people would just move on by now. "No, I suffer from a medical condition that prevents me from speaking, I'm effectively mute." You signed
Ibuki walked over to you "Ooh! I see, that's alright! You were fantastic there! the feeling from your drumming, it sent chills down Ibuki's Spine! It makes sense that your The Ultimate Drummer!" she says patting ya on the back. You then ask "If you don't mind me asking, how do you know sign language?" you signed. Ibuki thought for a moment, before signing back "I learned it so my deaf fans can enjoy my music! They May not hear the instruments, but they can understand what I'm singing or talking about!" You smiled shyly before asking "Can we be friends? you seem really cool!" you signed, and she grabbed your hands "Of course! You must be new here, as I've never met ya! Ibuki would remember hearing that beautiful drumming if you weren't new here!" she said as she looked at the clock "Its almost time for class! c'mon! lets go!" she said pulling your hand and dragging you to class.

Classes were over for the day, but Ibuki wanted to jam with you, so the two of you headed to the music room again. "Alright! I want you to listen to me play, and play off of me!" she said picking up her guitar. You gave a nod, and she began to play. You waited a moment before jumping in on the drums. together you all played until the school closed. you both walked home, Ibuki talked about her time in Black Cherry, and you talked about your time in a small rock band from your home town.
At the Stoplight, she stopped and looked at you "You know, Ibuki had a lot of fun today, I haven't had that much fun since I thought I found my Bandmate!" Ibuki said. Confused you sign "Bandmate? did you and Black Cherry lose each other once?", causing her to laugh "No no, I mean- Kinda like my soulmate, but on a more Platonic & Deep Level! See, there are more important things in this world than a temporary physical relationship. Its why unlike people searching for a love interest, I just look for friends! I'm not opposed to a romantic relationship, but I'd like to get to know the person, ya know?" she says looking ahead.
You nod your head "yea, I get that, I'm just glad I made a friend! I haven't had many due to my condition." you sign and she looks at you "Man, Some People Skipped out on a fantastic friend then! Sometimes Actions Speak Louder Then Words!" she said, causing you to genuinely smile for the first time in a while, you hug Ibuki, then sign "Thank you Ibuki." she smiles back "You don't need to thank Ibuki, Ibuki is happy to be friends with you!"
You Approach Ibuki's place "well, this is it for tonight." She said before smiling "But there's tomorrow to look forward to! I'll See You Later (Y/N)! Rock On!" she said, as you gave the sign of the horns (a.k.a the rock on hand sign) before headed home yourself. You entered your apartment. and layed down, you couldn't help but have the biggest grin on your face, you knew that the new friend you made today will become your best friend really quickly, you closed your eyes and went to sleep. Tomorrow was a new day, and you couldn't wait to hang out with Ibuki Again

Apologies for the shorter chapter, However I plan on making a part 2 to this story myself as I enjoyed the idea of a mute reader, As short as this second chapter is, and this being the second x reader I've written, I'm very proud of the way it came out! I hope you all enjoyed it!
