It has been half a year since the final killing game, You barley escaped with your life, after all was said and done, you were promoted to be the head of the 4th division of The Future Foundation, after the previous head, Seiko Kimura was killed in the final killing game, as the Former Ultimate Physician, it only made sense, You were a higher ranked member in the 4th division from your work ethic, Though sometimes, you worked yourself a little TOO hard, But that was then.

Now, you were now a Professor At the New Hopes Peak Academy Constructed By The Future Foundation. You were teaching Health Classes aswell as functioning as part as Hopes Peaks Medical Personnel. With that being said you were extremely passionate about your talent and took care of everyone... well except yourself. It was Ironic that as the Former Ultimate Physician, you didn't take care of yourself that well, you frequently pulled all nighters to do research on more ways to care for your students aswell as more things to teach your students.

Though you usually were able to pull these all nighters all week, then sleep during the weekends to have enough energy for the week, ever since your escape from The Final Killing Game, you've had trouble sleeping. seeing all the deaths of co-workers, the fear of being next, the Despair felt when someone would be dead beside you, only to find out there was never an attacker, but it was suicide due to videos being displayed on monitors, it was hard to sleep with all these things in mind. And while you could hide the lack of sleep from most of your Co-Workers, and Students, their was one that you couldn't hide it from, no matter how hard you tried: Kyoko Kirigiri.

Kyoko Is the Vice Principal of Hopes Peak, Assisting Makoto with operations, that is to say, she's  also your boss. As the Former Ultimate Detective, She was able to figure out if you were hiding anything, no matter how small it was. You and Kyoko were really good friends, going back to your time in Hopes Peak Yourself. You remembered when you witnessed her walk out of the  Former Overseas Future Foundation HQ building after seeing her die in the final killing game.

You awoken in the room you fell asleep in, along side Makoto, Aoi, Ryota, and Kyoko. waking up you were happy, it had seemed that everyone survived the night... until you looked to Kyoko, the tell tale signs of the NG Code Poisoning had taken effect. the left side of her body was dark purple. her blood vessels became engorged, particularly in her left eye, which turned red, causing her to have blood in her left eye as a result of the increased pressure. You looked at her Monokuma Wrist Bangle to reveal her NG Code: "Passing the Fourth time Limit with Makoto Naegi Alive" is what the bangle said. You all broke down, She hadn't said nothing so Makoto wouldn't do something that would harm himself. over the PA a voice you were all too familiar with was heard "Makoto Naegi. Have you learned Kyoko Kirgiri's forbidden action? Now do you understand how useless your platitudes are? It's time to settle whose hope is right. Yours or mine." Said The Vice President Of The Future Foundation, Kyosuke Munakata.
