Quite some time had passed since the following events occurred, it had been a day since Thors unfortunate death, a few hours since Askeladd and his soldiers arrived at England's Vicinity of Humber River, and it had been ten minutes since his son, Thorfinn, challenged Askeladd to a duel for his head. A fight that ended up being terribly one-sided.

Despite the cold demeanor she gotten over the past year, (Y/n) still never lost her sympathetic nature, and therefore couldn't help but feel sorry for the boy. So, when everyone was too focused on eating their food, she picked up her second piece of cooked salmon, that lay rested upon a leaf, and secretly headed deeper into the woods to find and bring it him.

She eventually came across him as he picked up some mushrooms near a tree.

"I wouldn't eat those if I were you" She said, her voice surprising him a little as he looked up at her.

"I know how to tell good mushrooms from bad ones, and those are definitely bad. Here, eat this instead..."

She held out the fish for him to take, but he only stared at both it and her skeptically.

"*sigh* I didn't poison it if that's what your thinking"

"*glare* And you think I'm supposed to believe that?"

"If I wanted to kill you I wouldn't do it in such a cowardly way. So please, take the fish"

He stared at both of them for another moment, before his stomach began rumbling. With his hunger out ruling his judgement, he dropped the mushrooms and begrudgingly took the fish from her, and scarfed it down like a feasting lion. Sighing in satisfaction when not a single piece was left behind.

"T...thank you. But, why would you give me this? Aren't you hungry too?"

"*smile* No, I already had a fish earlier"
