Chapter one
I thought that I didn't know what love really meant, but the first time I saw him the definition was right in front of me.
Katie's POV
"No way!" I screamed when my friend announced that we won the contest to meet and have lunch in California with my favorite band One Direction.
"I know right" she squealed loudly.
"Um.... Jane it takes like five to six hours to fly from here New York to California so we don't have that long to pack or get ready." I exclaimed nearly jumping out of my skin.
"Damn. I'll meet you in the front of your house in a hour or so." Jane said and quickly jumped of my bed and ran out my room and out the door.
I plugged my iPod in my ihome and started my One Direction playlist. I charged my laptop and phone and went to go call my mom. She was fine about it now being 16 I had more freedom. I got out a suit case and packed a whole bunch of clothes, pj's and other items girls can't live without. When I double checked and made sure I have everything I need, then doorbell rang. I rushed down the stairs with my bag and suit case.
"I'm ready," I muttered to myself grabbing my keys and opened the door to meet Jane in the car.
