"Hey. Hop in." You knew she didn't listen, but she had the amazing capacity to read lips since she practically always wore either headphones or earphones.

She got inside and took a seat beside you, she took her left ear out of the headphone and now you knew she could hear you.

"You wanna talk about it?" She simply shook her head no. "Do you wanna go home?" Another no again. "Do you want ice cream?" She gave a slight nod and you understood.

You kept your radio silence just so you could listen to what songs she was listening to, it was sad songs and every now and then you could see her from the corner of your eye wiping a tear from her eyes.

You drove to a Walmart and parked the car. "I'll be right back, ok?" She nodded. In record time you bought her favorite, 3 chocolate flavored ice creams, paid for them and ran back to the car.

You gave her the 3 ice creams and got a small smile from her. "Thanks." Was all she said.

You drove to your house, it was almost an hour drive on your way back. Jenna had yet not said a word.

You pulled over your garage and turned off the car. Jenna anticipated and got out, walking towards the front door. After you unlocked it, she and her 3 ice creams cans made their way straight to your kitchen and grabbed 2 spoons, and made a straight line to your comfy couch, grabbing the remote controller.

"Can we watch something?" By now she let her headphones on your side table and her eyes were less bloodshot than before.

"Of course." She chose one those crimes documentary to watch, and that was Jenna for you, she just loved those types of things.

Before sitting down beside her, you texted Natalie, Jenna's mom, saying she was with you and that everything was okay. You put your arms around her in a kindly way, pulled her head on your shoulder and kissed her forehead supportingly, letting her go shortly after. You don't have siblings, but the Ortegas are pretty much brothers and sisters to you and you hate to see Jenna sad for whatever reason.

After 3 hours of complete silence, just watching documentaries, she finally told you what happened. Her and her co-star from Stuck in the Middle were dating and he simply dumped her because he was seeing another girl. Supposedly another girl from Disney. She seemed better now, cause she told you everything without sharing a single tear.

"I'm gonna fucking kick his ass next time I see him." You said and she laughed. Nobody messes with Jenna.

-end of flashback-

A couple months passed after this episode, you graduated college, got your business administration degree and was now helping on your family's business. That was pretty much all you did on your time.

You watched as Jenna started to get bigger, you were there backstage while she was shooting for You and The Babysitter: Killer Queen. You even got a weird feeling seeing that kissing scene from the latter movie, after all, you had seen this girl grow up. Her acting skills were getting off the charts, and you were so proud of her.

She would often crash at your place cause as she would say "she needed a break from her siblings". You and Isaac grew a little separated, since he started dating and you starting working. But you and Jenna grew a stronger bond. You became really close friends with her stylist Enrique Melendez, or Rique as you and Jenna would call him, and you three would have long conversations about life.

Whenever you had availability, Jenna would call you to help her get set up for an interview or a press call, and you always watched from the outlines, cause the flashlights weren't for you. You always kept quiet and were an introvert, but you loved to see Jenna shine, she made you very proud. You were the one who kept her headphones safe whenever she stepped on the red carpet for pictures.

During 2019 you began dating a girl you met at work, named Maria. She was really nice, you clicked instantly, but you were the owner's daughter after all, so you had to be extra safe. You never got really involved with anyone, you had your first heartbreak when you were 18, the girl you dated, cheated on you with a guy, you learned from it, you grew from it.

You had come out to your family and friends ever since you were 18, but you never actually really gotten serious with a girl before to a point where you introduced her to your family.

You were 23 and living your best life, money was good after working long shifts at your family's business. You considered to have the best job, you liked to run things and take care of financials on a basic level, cause that wasn't your degree.

You got yourself another house closer to Los Angeles and kept the older one at Coachella Valley as a vacation home when you needed to get away from downtown craziness, which was often.

Jenna was 17 at the time, and working on a whole bunch of new projects. You didn't get to see her as often as you would before even though you still texted each other every two days or so. After her Disney co-star she never really dated anyone (or so she never told you).
