"There is a base not too far. Head south."  I spoke up.

"You killed your man. You know you can't go back now right?" Soap lowered his voice to be soft.

My eyes slightly watered. Hearing it from someone else hurt me most.

"Don't take credit. It was my choice."

König moved his hand to be placed on top of mine, out of sight of Price's eyes. My hand shifted to be intertwined with his as he slid it in between our legs.

"We won't fail." König comforted me.

-

"That the place?" Soap asked. Pointing towards a lit up and closed off safehouse.

"Yep." My hand left König's as I shuffled forward to look out of the window.

Ghost reached over and turned off the headlights as Soap stopped the car. We were around 30 ft away from the building.

"Theres an entrance and garage doors at the back. We can breach through the back while a team of two takes the roofs. They have open ventilation." She monitored the safehouse. There was 3 large sections. The garage being on the right side of it. The middle of the building being decently sized and there being a tall 2 story 'tower' next to it.

"That tower is where the shot caller stays. That mid piece is where all the soldiers stay. You want to work the garage up. I recommend Ghost and Gaz take the garage. You guys are quietest and can put down whoever is in there without causing panic." She glanced around at all of us. "Price, Soap and König can take the middle section. I can find a way to the roof and start working down the tower to pin everyone in that one place."

"Here." Gaz shuffled around in the back before pulling out a simple battery pack and radio receiver. I accepted it gratefully as I put the earbud in, clipping the radio to my vest and the battery back being stuffed into my vest pocket. Gaz handed me a silenced pistol as well along with 2 mags.

"Use smoke. Call in when you cleared the garage. Price, report when you clear the bunks." I ordered. Everyone nodded in agreement. Collecting the necessary gear.

Once everyone loaded out of the car Price took the lead. He guided us to a wall. Ghost looked towards Gaz.

"On me." Ghost took the lead around the bend of the building as him and Gaz disappeared.

Price put our focus on getting on the roof. Looking around there was a vent on the side of the roof.

Walking over I grabbed onto the ledge of the vent before hoisting myself up, jamming my foot into the vent entrance before kicking up onto the roof.

"Hurry up." Crouching down by the edge of the roof, Price followed my path. Instead of König climbing the vent he held his hands out as me and Price pulled him up.

Must suck being that tall.

"I'll head for the tower, you two stay here and wait for Soap's call." They both understood. Price seemed in a mood but I didn't want to intervene and make it worse.

There were 4 skylights in total, 2 on each side of the slanted roof. Price glanced ever so slightly into the rooms.

I have my job, I need to get on it.

Heading for the big 2 story concrete block I looked around. There was a window near this level, above it was a small 3 ft gap before another window.

The top floor had a full exposed window on every side, primarily used for look out.

Turning on my radio I could hear my team talking.

"2 in bed, 3 against the wall and one alone at the desk on the right." the british man was calling out people's positions. If I listened carefully I could hear the sound of rough housing, assuming it to be Ghost's side.

"I will take ze one alone, you can take the two in bed but those last 3 are armored. we need to get in close for those ones." Hearing the tall austrian talk in such a serious tone was new to me. His accent goes from being whiny to be gruffy and rigid.

"We will have to take them out first then. The others will be easier after that."

"Garage clear. You are free to deploy smokes. Once you deploy, we will enter the room. The 3 armored are on the other side of a door." Ghost interrupted them.

"Y/n, start the tower."

"Rog." I responded as I pulled out my pistol, peeking into the window I saw a man at the base of the stairs, shooting him in the head.

I grabbed onto the window frame before hugging myself against the wall. After a few seconds of baring my standings I jumped up and grabbed onto the ledge of the top most window.

There was a man, he had an armored vest on and no helmet. My hand strained as it held onto the concrete. Using my pistol with my other hand I aimed it.

I held my breath as I pulled the trigger. A shot to the neck. Shattering the glass before me. He grasped his neck before leaning against a large control panel. He slid down lifeless.

Slipping my pistol away I hoisted myself up, elbowing the glass through.

The muffled sound of gunfire was heard.

Confusing call outs were going back and forth over the radio.

Finally all the gunfire died down, leaving it quiet.

There was a large control panel against the wall. Walking over I turned off the look out lights, causing the building all except inside to go dark.

"Clear." Price copied over the radio.

"Tower clear." Clicking both sides of the mic together.

Inside the top of the tower were two different tables, the control table and a wood table with papers scattered all over it. Opposite of the tables was a bunk bed, a stair case leading down the tower on the far right of the tower floor.

Grabbing the paper and stacking them I prepared to head down the stairs.

-

Once I made it downstairs I found Price. All of them had begun hauling bodies out.

"I have info. Locations, movings." I handed the papers to him. The ones I was oh so familiar with. "Shipments."

It raised his interest. He took them appreciatively.

"Good work. See what else you can find." He patted my shoulder. Ghost and Soap hauling out another body while Gaz was searching through things.

Taking his advice I headed back into the tower.

I found a filing cabinet hidden behind the control panel. Pulling out all of the papers I sat down at the table I decided to start reading through everything.
