As the first light of morning kissed the mountains and valleys, its gentle rays pierced through the curtains, revealing two slumbering figures.

Soft snores harmonized in the room until a delicate flutter of eyelashes marked her awakening. Her eyes, still heavy with sleep, slowly parted, revealing a state of mild confusion. Something felt different, off. The usually comfortable bed seemed unusually hard, and a strange smoothness greeted her touch.

Her endearing bewilderment brought a gentle smile to Silas's lips. The sensation of waking up with the one he cherished was beyond words.

"Are you awake?" he chuckled softly, his voice carrying a rare tenderness, a tone reserved exclusively for her. The sound of his voice cleared her foggy mind, and she gazed up at him, blinking. Her hands, previously lost in exploration, rested upon his bare chest, her fingers caressing it absentmindedly.

Her eyes widened in astonishment, and her cheeks flushed like a blooming rose. Alora found herself unable to suppress a nervous gulp.

"Morning," Silas's voice, like a soothing melody, broke the silence. She opened and closed her mouth like a fish out of water, struggling to find her words. Eventually, all she managed was a hoarse, "Mo-Morning..." Her voice quivered with a blend of surprise and timidity.

Silas couldn't help but become a little tense. That part of his body really ached after hearing her hoarse voice. He suppressed his urges.
"H-how d-did..." How did we end up like this?
She wanted to ask that but she felt so nervous. 'Would he mind that I was literally rubbing his chest? Would he feel offended? Should I apologize first?'
She was worried.

His chest vibrated beneath her gentle touch as he chuckled once more, a sound that seemed to hold an inexplicable allure. Her blush deepened at the seductive timbre of his laughter.

Silas, ever perceptive, could discern the unspoken question in her eyes. Her endearing demeanor, like a bashful kitten, tugged at his heartstrings, filling him with a profound tenderness.

"You fell asleep while holding onto me," he explained, his voice a soft caress. "I considered moving you back to your bed, but it appeared you preferred this one, so I let you rest here." Silas's words were gentle, laced with warmth and understanding.

He kept his intimate gestures a secret, the tender kisses he had stolen on her head, cheeks, and eyes hidden in the depths of his heart.

"We...uh..should get up," Alora whispered, her voice a fragile melody. Silas's gaze remained fixed on her, causing her to briefly avert her eyes. The intensity of his stare had felt as though he might devour her whole, but when she dared to glance back, the piercing intensity had softened.

In a flurry, she rose from the bed and quickly darted towards the bathroom, her heart pounding in her chest.

Alora

Inside the bathroom, Alora could feel her cheeks burning with an intensity that rivaled the sun. She entered without casting a glance backward, closing the door behind her, and leaned against it, taking deep, steadying breaths.
