We got up and went out separate ways to class.

I stood up from my chair about to walk out of class before my teacher stops me, "Mariana did you see Jose yet" he asked "yea yesterday" I replied "alright well he's going to email you about the case" he said and I nodded my head and left.

Today I felt completely drained. School and work have me tired, but i'm doing it for a good cause.

Walking into my car as Stay Ready from Jhené Aiko played. I made sure to go straight home so I could check my emails and revise my case. Which I knew was going to be absolutely tiring.

Man I should've chose a different career path. But I didn't want to be like those typical girls who want to be into cosmetology or a nurse, no shame for them since they still getting they bag.

As I drove back home I noticed that I was getting a call from Alana's mom. Quickly answering her voice beamed though the car.

"Hey Mariana" she said "hey ana" I said "do you think you could pass by i've found a box that was labeled for you from alana" she said "for sure i'm on my way now" I replied "thank you drive safe" she said hanging up.

"What could possibly be in that box" I thought to myself.

I finally got to Alana's apartment complex. Finding in empty parking spot that was so difficult to find I walked out the car, into the complex.

Walking up to apartment 5a I knocked on the door. It quickly swung open revealing Alana's mom Ana. "Oh hey Mariana come in" she said moving out the way.

"You guys are moving out" I asked seeing a bunch of boxes all over the place. "There is nothing left for us here" she replied "so where you guys going now" I said putting my weight on my other leg "Florida" she said happily "that's way better then here, I gotta leave while I have the chance as well" I replied "well let me grab you the box since you look exhausted" she said and I nodded my head.

She handed me the box as I thanked her and left.

Putting everything down I open the box. On top there was a letter.

Dear Mariana,

I'm not sure when your going to read this or if you even do. Hopefully my mom finds the box and gives it to you instead of throwing it out. I've committed suicide by the time or if I haven't i'm proud of myself. I've token too many pills till the point that I would cry. I don't want to put all my issues on you so how are you? Is there anyone special in your life now? Do you still want to be a lawyer so you could free your future mans. Ion know what would poses you to want a man in jail but do you sis because anything that you do I will support you, but if you continue to put my awareness to the side life is going to go complete wrong for you. Please watch out on yourself and take care of yourself. I don't want to meet you earlier then I really have too. Just so you know I love you so much.

Taking another look in the box there was an envelope of exactly 5k.

Turning it over there was another note.
