It had been roughly 6 years since his disappearance, and you missed him dearly.

The large wheels of the cars rolled smoothly along the surface of the drive in the Garrison. You just hoped he hadn't forgotten about you in all his adventuring...you stand staring at the two buggies as they opened, you were twitchy and fidgety, tears stinging your eyes.

'why should I be glad to see him, he left me for 6 years...' you turned your head from the commotion as they opened...though you held your pained and worried expression.

Pidge leaped out to engulf her mother in a big hug, and her other family soon followed. You glared off to the side as Keith noticed your figure, after exiting. You could only imagine the look on his face. You didn't dare look at him for fear your tough exterior would crumble.

Lance followed in meeting his large family, and you released a frustrated sigh through your nose. They weren't helping with trying to keep yourself from leaping into his arms.

Keith never took his eyes off you, he was so relieved you were here, not off in the apocalyptic world outside; you hadn't changed much in appearance...other than the deep purple bags under your eyes, pale skin, and sunken cheeks. Though he still thought you were beautiful as ever. He assumed it was from worry and sleep deprivation...had he really worried you that much?

"Y/N..." He reached a hand towards you as you wrapped your arms around yourself and hugged yourself, it was taking all you could to not break. he felt slightly amused knowing that you couldn't hold this grumpy illusion.

'That jerk should've missed me.' You let out a quiet hum as the tears welling in your eyes spilled over, running down your pink cheeks. You tried to teach him a lesson, but that mullet-y boyfriend of yours had other plans...

"God dammit, Keith!" You wrapped your arms around his torso, enveloping him in a warm hug. His eyes were wide, he was so worried you were never gonna want to be near him again. His arms snaked around your waist as he shoved his face into the crook of your neck, hunching over because he had grown a bit taller

"Don't you dare leave me again, you hot, stupidly tall, asshole!" you clench him tighter to you.

You pulled back and looked into those stupidly pretty eyes of his. His face was dripping in amusement. You placed a hand on his face, rubbing your thumb over his scar gently, as to not irritate it. You huffed in exasperation.

"You have some explaining to do, Kogane.-" you huffed though were swiftly cut off as Keith cupped your tear-soaked jaw and pressed his lips to yours, You shut your teary eyes. Just finally feeling so happy to have him back, you and him both felt pure bliss being back in each other's arms, his arm around your waist was closing the gap between your bodies making it infinitely smaller, though seemingly impossible.

You nor Keith noticed the audience looking absolutely stunned at you two as Keith pushed harder against your lips, feeling drunk on the feeling again.

"KEITH, WHAT THE HELL IS THIS???" you heard a male voice yell. Your eyes flying open.

You jumped away from Keith, though you felt a giddy grin spread on your face when you felt him lean forward to try to follow your lips, he hadn't changed in the slightest. You snapped your head to see the paladins of Voltron staring at your little display...

"W-what, Did I miss something? Or is there something on my face?" You asked quizzically clutching onto your boyfriend. You were staring at the wide-eyed companions of his, though he never replied, so you glanced up only to find him staring at you with tears in his eyes. He pulled you back into him.

"God I missed you so much." He whispered into your neck. Your body heat rising.

"SERIOUSLY, KEITH, WHAT IS GOING ON!?" you look over to see a young person staring at you, they were the green paladin, Pidge if you were correct.

"Yeah man since when was...this? A thing you did...like. Ever. And what is coming out of your eyes right now, man this is so weird!" a large man, the yellow paladin, Hunk said. Your eyes widened.

"Keith," you said sternly grasping a hold of his shoulders and tearing him from your neck to see his red stained eyes. "did you seriously not tell them about me?..." You let out a breathy sigh. He wiped his eyes. "Y/N, I-" you cut him off.

"Oh, yeah no that's fine totally not mention your girlfriend- pfft not like I cared or anything." Your eyes narrowed at him, your brows furrowed as you pushed from him, turning to the paladins, ( briefly looking for Shiro, who you had known a long time, though he was busy talking to Iverson right now) you looked at all of them and put on a smile, ridding yourself of your tears and blatantly ignoring Keith who was behind you, apologizing and begging you to give him attention.

"It's nice to meet you, I'm Y/N. Keith's girlfriend he obviously forgot about." You gave a mean side eye to Keith who at some point latched onto your side and was whispering 'I'm sorry' into your neck over and over.

Pidge and Hunk leaped forwards and shoved Keith out of the way as they 'examined' you. They looked at your face, your body and were...nodding. Pidge put her hand on her head and measured her head to yours, then putting a thumbs up when you were taller than her. You were confused and your face heated in embarrassment, then there was Keith, standing with a pout...petting his wolf as a way to try and feel better. The animal leaned against him as if trying to cheer him up. Before he got roped into a conversation with Iverson

Lance just stood there pointing at you and gawking. Somehow you had officially broken team Voltron. You waved a hand gently in front of his face. Keith had told you many times about how gentle and timid you were to others and how you never really hurt someone's feelings, other than his when you refused to give him attention.

"H-Hello? Are you alright? Is he alright?" You pointed at the boy whilst looking at Pidge and Hunk, their eyes started watering for some odd reason.

"How did emo Keith of all people manage to get a girlfriend?..." Pidge states and Hunk rapidly nodded his head.

"emo Keith?-"

"Woah, woah, woah, woah-," Lance snapped out of his trance. "I think we're missing the point here. Keith has a girlfriend before me, and he didn't tell any of us..."

You felt uncomfortable and simply stared at your shoes and twirling a strand of your H/C locks.

"Wait, since when did Keith have a girlfriend?" An older orange haired man spoke ,twisting his moustache.

"Uhm, like two years prior to his disappearance?" you mumble playing with your fingers.

"So, you guys have been dating for a while..." Lance eyed you.

"Uh-, I- uhm..." your voice was quiet and had raised in pitch before Keith pulled you into his arms and away from them,

"Leave her be, guys."

you sighed in relief before smacking him across the back of his head.

"that's for not telling your friends about me." You snapped. He yelped in pain and voiced his discomfort before being silenced with the gentle touch of your lips to his. "And that's because I love you." You added, speaking gently against his lips.

"Nothing's changed?" you heard a deep voice chuckle before turning to see Shiro. Your eyes welled up again, but you didn't let any tears escape this time.

"Takashi!" you leaped towards him and almost knocked him over. "seriously what am I going to do with you! First you go missing on Kerberos then this! You're almost as bad as a certain Kogane" you joked, as he ruffled your hair.

"I'm sorry, Shrimp, but we have to go now, there's a meeting and-" Takashi was hushed by you.

"It's okay, I waited six years I can wait an hour." You giggled.
