Tbh so was Connor, but y'know, that's the point. Zoe finally finished the song by admitting that she is not sad about her brother. Fair.
Requiem is touching but it kinda sucks.

Time for the weirdest love song ever; If I Could Tell Her, where Evan essentially confesses his feelings for Zoe under the pretence that it's what her recently deceased brother said about her. Seriously, Evan, that's messed up.
It's actually a pretty catchy song though.
Everything that happens is best summarised by a Jared quote (everything is best summarised by a Jared quote): "You what? I can't believe you tried to kiss Zoe Murphy on her brother's bed. After he died. Asshole, aren't you gonna say anything?"

Jared is making profit off of Connor's death. As you do. But he knows that everyone is going to forget in a couple weeks. A fact Alana doesn't seem to realise.
After a video call with Alana Evan starts talking to Connor. Yes. Connor. DUN DUN DUN. Okay, technically he's actually a figment of Evan's imagination, so no dark plot twist there, but still.
