Football Field - Day
[The cheerleading squad, the Cheerios, are practicing routines. They are being watched and timed by Kitty Wilde, their coach. One of the cheerleaders falls from the top of the formation.]
Kitty: You think this is hard? Try being waterboarded. That's hard.
Parking Lot - Day
[Sam Evans drives in and parks his clunky car. He approaches a dumpster where a group of jocks including Austin "Auzzy" Pierce and Rafael Sylvester are surrounding Finley Hummel-Anderson.]
Sam: Making some new friends, Finley?
Auzzy: He sure is, Mr. Evans.
Sam: Hey, Rafael, you still owe me that report on que hace el verano pasado.
Rafael: What?
Sam: "What you did last summer."
Rafael: Almost halfway done with
[Sam leaves.]
Auzzy: It's hammer time!
[Auzzy and another jock pick FINLEY up.]
Finley: Please, this is from Marc Jacobs' new collection!
Rafael: Wait.
[The jocks release Finley. He takes off his jacket and hands it to Rafael.]
Rafael: Okay.
[Auzzy and the other jock toss Finley into the dumpster. Rafaelappears troubled.]
Football Field - Day
[Felicity Fabray-Hudson jumps and performs a cheerleading pose in the air.]
Hallway - Day
[Sam stands in front of a trophy display, admiring a first-place trophy that WMHS won at the 2012 National Choir Championships. Next, he looks at a plaque awarded to Finn Hudson (1994-2013) with the quote "The show must go on... all over the place... or something."]
Classroom - Day
[Sam is teaching a spanish class. Rafael is in the class.]
Sam: Como esta usted? Yo me llamo Guillermo.
Class: (repeats, bored) Como esta usted? Yo me llamo Guillermo.
Sam: Que lastima, hojala que se sienta mejor.
Class: (repeats) Que lastima...

[Sebastian Smythe and Liam Miller are singing "Where Is Love?" from Oliver! together. Jasmine Berry-St.James is watching, upset.]
Teacher's Lounge - Day
[Sam and Mike Chang are standing around a coffee maker without a coffee pot.]
Sam: Where's the coffee pot?
Mike: Shuester got rid of it. Budget cuts. You know, I know for a fact that they are still getting hot java at Carver. We should strike.
[Kitty enters with coffee drinks.]
Kitty: Hello, boys. Who needs a pick-me-up?
Mike: Wow, lattes!
Kitty: Yeah, I am a bit of a coffee snob. Now, the key to a perfect latte, is in the temperature of the steamed milk. I like mine scalding.
[Mercedes enters.]
