"Your Majesty, I am anxious about our Princess... She's not letting anyone inside her room for days now! She just asks Lilian for food and locks herself up again!" Felix worriedly told Claude who was half mad and half shocked

Claude then got back into his original ice-cold look again but rage was flowing through his veins

"Now I see why she had been rejecting all of my requests to see her and was not able to hear news from the Ruby Palace.. why is my daughter acting like this? Is there someone or something that bothers her in the Ruby Palace? Felix, tell me quickly so I can execute them as soon as I see those idiots"

Felix felt a little scared as Claude said with a murderous look and a very menacing aura

"Your Majesty... I suppose that it was because of Lucas" Felix said

"The young warlock? The abandoned son of that wretch noble? Ha. That brat is so lucky to be away from Richard. It is a great thing that he lived with us. But why would my daughter act all like this? What is that brat's connection with it?" Claude said

"With all due respect Your Majesty but, are you even aware that Lucas had left Obelia in the past few days? The black tower even requested your permission to take Lucas for him to control his overflowing mana! You signed their papers, didn't you?" Felix became a little pissed

"I did?"

It was all Claude could say after the never-ending paragraph Felix had mentioned

Felix did the eye twitch and hand-slapped his face "You didn't read the papers, didn't you?... Why can't you be more careful in signing?!!" Felix is now officially pissed

"I only sign papers to people I knew that had good intentions" Claude said

"Sigh, you never change.." Felix complained

"My daughter, I will visit her... Take care of my work" Claude then walked away and headed towards the Ruby Palace

Felix sighed as he looked at the thousands of pieces of paperwork Claude had left him

"Greetings and glory to the sun of the Obelian Empire" The maids all greeted Claude as he walked into the Palace

"Where is Athanasia? Bring me to her" Claude ordered the head maid and brought Claude to the front door of Athanasia's room

"Is Lilian York in there?" Claude asked

"No... Your Majesty" The head maid answered

"Find where she is and bring her to me.." Claude said

Athanasia heard her father outside. She immediately stopped what she was doing and dashed to open the door.. To be honest, Athanasia really missed Claude so much, She just won't admit it

"P-papa!" Athanasia burst out in tears and hugged Claude tight

Claude carried her in his arms and wiped her tears "Missed me? You fool, you shouldn't have rejecting me these past days... You and Diana had the same attitude. First, You act cold... but in reality, you girls wanted to see me again" Claude then released a small laugh

**Athy's POV**

"Papa!! Are you here to comfort Athy or give Athy a lecture?" I said to papa while hugging him tight

'Wait?.. Papa giggled? It was rare seeing papa smile these days' I thought

"You've grown a lot thinner... are you even eating your meals properly? See?.. Your chubby cheeks aren't that chubby anymore.." He then pinched my cheeks
