The Magic Knight Entrance Exams

*A few Months later*

Inside a forest the sound of battle was heard. A anti bird was looking on top of a tree at a boy (without mask) fighting against a women.

*CLANG* His sword, which was coated in darkness, clashed with the womans magic, which formed into a claw. Jumping back, the boy quickly formed some handsigns.

"[Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu]!" Out of his mouth a giant fireball shot out.

The woman didn't even bother to evade and simply blocked the attack.

"[Chidori]!" out of the dispersing flames of the fire ball, a hand shot out, coated with electricity heading towards her. She knew better then to block that attack. The last time she did, she got hurt pretty badly. So she jumped back before her grimoire flew infront of her. The next moment multiple fireballs appeared around the boy, which then flew at him at high speed. With his red eyes, which had three tomoe in them, he quickly looked around. With as little movement as possible he avoided them. From behind him the woman suddenly appeared with raised fist. Out of instinct he held his sword up behind himself and blocked the attack, but was still launched a few meters away. In midair he corrected his pose and landed on his feet. His grimoire then appeared besides him as he casted a spell.

"[Darkness Magic: Shadow Veil]!" a black fog appeared around him and the woman, blocking her sight. She stood still, looking around. The boy jumped at her from the right, but she simply punched him away. He then turned into smoke, as more clones of him started to rush at her. She evaded, blocked and even destroyed most of the clones.

"[Chidori Sharp spear]!" A beam of electricity suddenly shot at her from the fog. Using the Magic around her, she deflected the beam, which destroyed a few trees besides her. Behind her the boy suddenly appeared. She turned around and attacked him, but with a puff of smoke the boy turned into a log of wood. Realizing what happened, she turned around, only to be punched in the face by a fist. She slid back a few meters, before grinning at her attacker.

"So you want to do hand to hand combat next, eh?" Mereoleona grinned at the boy.

"...." (Y/n) didn't answer her and just raised his fists.

They rushed at each other, exchanging blows. When she threw a punch at him, he would block or evade it and when he attacked, she would do the same. A few seconds later they would start to include kicks and such as well. But at one point (Y/n) didn't manage to evade and was punched in the face. He was launched away. Grabbing his sword, he stabbed it in the ground, stopping his momentum. Mereoleona, coated in her fire magic, already rushed at him. Quickly pulling his sword out of the ground, he coated it in darkness magic and lightning chakra, before also rushing at her. They slashed/punched at each other. As the two attacks collided, they created a small explosion. (Y/n) was launched back against a tree. Slowly standing up, he saw how Mereoleona walked through the smoke towards him, as her magic dissappeared.

"That's enough for today! Come on, let's eat!" she said.

"*sigh* fine." He put his sword back into the sheath.

They walked for a few minutes, before arriving at a small campsite. It was already evening, when they arrived. (Y/n) sat down on a selfmade chair made out of a tree infront of a campfire, which mereoleona already ignited. Above the fire hang the flesh of a magic bear they hunted this morning and was being grilled. In silence they began to mow down on their food. In just a few minutes, the giant grilled bear was only bones.

"I'm going to shower at the waterfall." (Y/n) said, grabbing some spare clothes, before walking towards the waterfall.

Once there, he stripped of his clothes, revealing his muscular body, which was also full of scars and small injuries.
