"Oi, Dolly, open the door!" he tried once again, there was no response from her at all.

"Anu Open it! Mangalam!  What happend to her..? Do you know anything?" Her father questioned, walking inside the kitchen, where his mother was setting up the dishes, without any worry for her daughter.

"Aadi, stop banging her door. She will come out and have her food, if she's hungry. There's no need to pamper her." Aadi heard his mother's shrill voice from the kitchen.

"Amma, why are you saying like this..?" He asked as he came to her.

"Nothing happend to your precious daughter.. and your sister. She's just putting up act so that we would agree to her demands.. nothing is going to happen to her. Stop worrying you both!" Aadi's mother replied, pointing at her husband and son.

"Amma, at least tell us what happend.. we can't leave it just like this.. what's the reason behind her stubbornness? She's not someone who demands for useless things.. I know he---

"Aadi, stop supporting that brat and come, have your food, it's already late and Yeah, I don't want to talk anything about your sister" His mother intervened.

"Maa? She's your daughter as well!" he gritted his teeth in annoyance.

"No, she's not." Mangalam shot back glaring at her son. Aadi becomes shocked hearing his mother's insensitive talks.

"MANGALAM!" Aadi's father roared at high pitch making her cower in fear. His mother becomes frozen hearing his tone.

"Appa?!" Anusha came running from her room hearing her father's high pitched tone, quite scared and uncertain.

"Nothing ma, what happend? Why did you lock yourself in your room?" Her dad asked in a calm tone seeing her scared face. His face shows a calm and concerned look contrast to what was happening a minutes before.

"Athu.. Appa nothing!" she brushes off not wanting to expose her mother. She cares for her no matter what the person shows.

"Dolly! No need to hide anything. Ask us if you want anything" Aadi comforted pulling her in to a sibling hug.

"Anna..." she drags, uncertain whether to ask her wish or not. She was afraid of her mother's reaction. She has already asked once and has got enough scoldings for the day, she didn't want to repeat the scene twice.

"Sollu ma" her father demands, looking her intently.(Tell us, ma)

"Appa.. I--I want to.." she abruptly stops sensing her mother's glare.

"You want to?" Aadi pushes further.

"I want to invite Jaanu's family  for my...---- "Look at her! Look what is she demanding for! Your wonderful daughter wants to invite those traitors family for her engagement.! Look how absurd her demand is! And you want me keep quiet for this!" Mangalam intervenes her daughter scolding her without break.

"Mangalam! Let her talk. She's not asking anything absurd. That's her right to ask for, afterall its her engagement. She can invite anyone she wants. All I want is her happiness." Her father favours her.

"YOU.. Agree with her? You also want to invite them? Those betrayers?" Mangala stares at her husband in disbelief.

"Mangala, its been so many years.. I think we need to let the bygones be bygones" her father replies with a distressed look.

"Ma, I think he is right. How long will you have this enemity with them? Let Anu's engagement be  the reason for our reunion. Please Ma.. under---

"Aadi? Even you?" his mother stares at him with shock.
