Falling asleep last night was really difficult

Falling asleep last night was really difficult. My head was spinning over all the things Delanie opened up about last night. Her mom passed away in an accident, her brother left with no explanation, and not to mention he's not only her brother but her TWIN brother.

In the middle of the night I just layed there staring at the ceiling contemplating on what I should do about Harry. At one point I picked up my phone and thought about blocking his number so I could avoid this whole situation and act like it never happened. On the other hand, I wanted to send him a text asking when I could see him again. I chose to do neither- I'm going to hold off on any drastic decisions until I can get some more clarity.

The other night with Harry made me realize how much I had been missing out on with Brayden. I was treated like a person with feelings and not an object that's whole purpose was to be used. I don't know if me not dropping everything with Harry right away is right, but this is the first time I've ever decided to try and put myself first. I just hope that I don't ruin my relationship with Delanie along the way.

It's around eight in the morning and I say my goodbyes to Dels, telling her I'll check in throughout the day. I head back up to my apartment because I have some meetings to take with clients and have to do some partnership ads for brands on my socials.

My first passion has always been in the creative industry, I've always loved taking photos and creating beautiful things. When I was 15 my mom had gotten me my first camera and that's when the love I had for photos was something I wanted to make into a career. Once I moved out to LA, I did a lot of freelance work just trying to make ends meet. That's when I found a designer on Instagram who was looking for a photographer to help her with her fashion portfolio. That was the day that I saw how fun it was to capture clothing and models in fun and unique ways.

My work slowly started to make it around the industry and here I am now having it be my full time job, working for fashion brands and shooting for fashion influencers. Becoming an influencer was a complete accident. My socials were just for fun and I shared all the things that were going on in my life. Over time I grew a following and was getting offers from companies to work with them. I don't have a passion for it I would say, but living in LA isn't the cheapest thing in the world and with one or two posts for a brand I can pay a month's rent.

That's just a deal I can't pass up, especially when it adds to the freedom I've given myself.

Once I get up to my apartment I get myself dressed and ready for the day. Going for a look that is dressy but business casual. I'm wearing a yellow silk slip dress and a black oversized blazer, pairing it with some knee high boots. Then for my hair, I went with my go to voluminous curls that I always love.
