Kali Aris Gray was always filled with strife, maybe because of her mother Eris, or maybe because of her grandfather Ares but she was always in conflict with herself and others so when a new kid showed up at Camp Half-blood let's just say she was less than pleased. That's not to say she was happy with the chaos that followed well she was for a while until the secrets and lies started piling up and Kali Gray was never good with betrayal.
Many talk about how the sea does not like to be restrained but neither does strife and discord, which is all Kali is.
Right now, in June 2006, she is sixteen years old, which is quite old for a demigod, especially one with her heritage. As she walks around camp, she can hear swords clanking from demigods training, the sound of arrows being fired as they soar through the air, and the sound of different groups of people talking at the same time which begins to irritate her and no one wants an irritated Kali so as she walks around trying to find Kaiden or Ivy while glancing up at the sky every so often as it thunders resulting in worry around camp about what the Gods were arguing about this time.
After a while Kali finds her brother Kaiden though they are siblings it's only on their moral side well semi-mortal side. Their father Kieran Gray is a demigod son of Ares who after Kali and Kaiden went to camp gave her steel dual swords χάος (chaos) and διχόνοια (discord) her mother gave them to him when she found out she was pregnant though she never found out why she did considering most Gods never care to acknowledge their children let alone give them a weapon to protect themselves. Kaiden is her elder brother who is eighteen and the son of Nike, their father met both their mothers while he was in the military no doubt appealing to Nike and Eris' domains of victory, strife, and discord during his time. Kai uses a spear named κατακτητής (conqueror) made of celestial bronze.
One thing to be said about the Gray family is they are all tall, Kali stands at 5'8' while Kai stands at 6'2' so when next to their sister in everything but blood Ivy who stands at 5'2 they make her look tiny yet no one tends to fight her as she is tiny but mighty resulting in her nickname from Kali and Kaiden being "Little spitfire".
So though Kali is tall she is not as tall as her brother, so she stands on the tips of her toes behind him and whispers "Boo." Causing him to jump slightly and turn around and see her before giving her a noogie on her head resulting in her swearing him out and elbowing him in the stomach letting her get free of his grasp and put steps between them and immediately said in a quick tone "Peace, Fratello." With her hands in the air in an attempt to seem harmless though they both know she is anything but harmless he nods and says "What do you need, Kals?" she is now wearing her usual sly smirk looking almost like a copy of her mother's she says with her barely noticeable Italian accent that most don't notice unless they are Italian or have spent quite a bit of time around her "I am looking for our little spitfire, dear brother. Do you happen to know where she is?" He paused for a moment before replying with "I don't know actually but we can go find her I'll look near the climbing fall considering our little spitfire is almost always near it." Kali nods and says, "I'll go look near the hills considering she has Roswell with her and I think I heard Silena say something about that way." She rubs his head to mess up his hair and takes off running away laughing as she hears him swear but is now too far away for him to catch up quickly.
