it felt as if she'd died, which didn't make sense, because she was never really alive.

white walls surrounded her, but that's all there seemed to be, for miles.

no people, no objects.

the floor was white, too. but, you couldn't really tell where the walls ended and the floor started.

sometime into the hours that cherry spent staring at nothing, some of the white faded to red.

cherry had no idea what she was looking at, all her brain registered was a sparkly, red blob.

"hello, cherry." it spoke, but it also didn't have a decipherable voice, cherry could just understand it.

she had no idea what was going on.

"do you know where you are?" the blob asked.

"no." cherry replied, slowly. "are you.. god?"

"i don't like that word. i'm just here."
