Eleanors pov:

i sat next to alice, i was a little uncomfortable.

and thats when i realized, i cried to Eva.

I let me guard down. I looked vulnerable.

But.

Maybe thats not a bad thing?

Eva's really nice, and shes treated me like a person.

She acted like a true friend to me.

No, more like a mother.

I shook my head before alice spoke up. 

Ruining my train of thought for the better

"The shows starting, Eleanor"

I watched in amazment looking at the audience

"That many people want to see Eva? What is this even about" i asked Alice

"Its about the greek myth of Orpheus and Eurydice, and how Eurydice goes to hadestown after getting caught in a storm when Persephone leaves for winter. Orpheus tries to save her." 

Eurydice, Orpheus. It all sounded familiar but i remember a snake.

"In the myth though they talked about a snake?" i said looking at alice.

"True, you know your myths. A snakes kind of hard to portray for a broadway show and it would make things a whole lot harder for us." alice said smiling as a man sang about a 'road to hell'

I nodded "Whats your job?" i asked Alice as she looked back at me 

"Oh, my job is to watch the show, make sure theres no video photography, make sure theres no prop or wardrobe malfunctions. Make sure everyones mic is on when it needs to be and singal the moving platform." Alice said switching on afew buttons

I nodded, kind of confused.

I watched the show again.

I saw Eva walk on stage, she looked really pretty.

Then i saw the other guy Reeve.

Eva started singing about wind and rain and stuff. 

Afew more things happened then Reeve asked Eva to marry him and talked about spring. I was laughing, Alice smiled at me.

Before long a man walked in the little room 

He had white hair a vest on, sleeves rolled up and black pants

He had a deep voice 

"Hey al.." he said looking at alice

"Hi patrick need anything?" Alice said smiling

"Uh, i lost my glasses." he said loking down

"Their with the pickaxes, they fell off on stage last night, ensemble picked it up an put it in the basket." alice said looking back on the show, suddenly frowning

The man named Patrick looked back at the screen.

"Uh oh, whos in trouble, Eva or Cass?" he said laughing.

"Ill figure it out" alice said frowning still

"thanks bye" patrick said before running off

"Whats wrong? Why is Eva in trouble" i asked looking at Alice

"Well the costume she has on, is not the right one for this scene. Thats her hadestown costume. Eva is supposed to be wearing a black slip dress. But she was in a rush today and probably didnt realize she put the wrong costume on or our costume girl Cassidy messed up." alice said writing something down
