Around 9.00 A.M, Aadi wakes up feeling fresh. He comes out of his room after brushing and finishing his morning routine. He steps in to the kitchen as usual and looks at his sister who was struggling to lift a hot vessel from the stove. His mother was no where to be found.
"Anu, step back. I'll help!" he says and comes to her. He carefully lifts and vessel and places it aside. He then smiles at his sister who reciprocates the same.
"Amma enga di?" He asked sitting in the empty kitchen counter. He takes the carrot beside him and starts munching it. (Where is Amma?)
"Vegetables vanga poirkanga. Ipo than Velu Anna vandhanga" she replies referring to their vegetable vendor. (She's gone to buy the vegetables.. now only Velu Anna came)
"Oh..seri, seri."(Oh..Okay, okay) He acknowlegdes her. She turns to him and asks-
"Coffee ah? Green tea ah?"
"Coffee" he replies and gets down from the counter. He finished eating that carrot as well.
"Everything is becoming too costly nowadays.!" they hear their mother huffing in irritation as she enters the kitchen with a vegetable bag in her hand.
"Enna ma aachu?" Aadi asks in concern.(What happened ma?)
"Aadi! Enna ivlo seekram ezhunthuta?" Mangalam asks her son, ruffling his hair. Anusha shakes her head looking at her mother's love for her son. (Aadi, why you woke up so soon?)
She understands that her mother loves him more, for that is being too partial necessary? She thought to herself.
"Amma.. It's already 9.00 when I woke up.." he exclaimed.
"So what? You get only Sundays to have rest.. what's wrong in sleeping for some more time!" she defended him.
"Adiye Mangalam! This is too much I say.. just because he is your son.. you're being too partial towards him." Kathiravan counters back from the hall.
"It's nothing like that.!" she grits her teeth.
"Then what? On one hand you don't even let Anu sleep till 7, but your son can alone sleep till whenever he wants ah?" Kathir asks being annoyed with his wife's impartiality.
"Ennanga, Aadi is your son as well" she reminds him. With that a verbal war starts between Mangalam and her husband, who argue taking each side of their children. Anu passes him the coffee meanwhile.
"Enna di? Kalailaye ipdi irruku!" he asks his sister while sipping his coffee. (Morning itself is like this!?)
*Sneeze* *Sneeze* Idhu ena pudusa enna? she asks as she continues to stir the sambar without much concern. (What's new in this?)
"Illa.. dhan.." he smiles agreeing to his sister's point. (No.. you're right!)
"Seri, when did you wake up today?" Aadi asks all of a sudden, turning to his sister.
"You know I woke up at 6.00 A.M by mistake. Nalla vela dose kamidhan" she says smiling at him. He becomes sad hearing her. (Thank God! Scoldings were a little less only)
"Yen di.. thittu vanga pora epdiyum.. apram yen 6.00 manike ezhunda.. oru 8.00 mani varaikum thoongirkalamla" he suggests looking at her pitifully. He knows how his mother always picks on his sister for every small thing. Unfortunately, his mother never changes her attitude at all and his sister has gradually started accepting her fate. (Anyways you're going to get scoldings, then you don't you sleep till 8?)
"If at all I did this.. I'll be six feet unde--*he closes her mouth immediately*. He hates when someone talks about death or dying.
"Don't you dare complete it" he scolds her. She nods smiling at her brother's care.
After a while Mangalam stops fighting with her husband, being irritated, her husband goes out to meet his friends, and have some peace.
"He always does this" she snaps being angry.
"Seri, vidu amma" Aadi cools her down. (Leave it, Amma)
"No da, he's being too kind to her" she says glaring at her daughter. Anu keeps a straight face.
"What will she do? Why are you blaming her?" Aadi asks having enough of his mother's nonsense.
"All because of her" she says once again, ignoring his question. He sighs in disappointment.
"Okay, you go and take bath.. I'll prepare breakfast" His mother finally dismisses him from the kitchen while resuming her cooking.
"Ok" he replies and walks away.
To be continued!

A glimpse of Aadi's household. A complete opposite to Jaanu's. Here fights happen often then pranks and bickerings. However Aadi and Anusha's bond is lovely. Her dad's love for her. Just Wow!Though his way of expressing is different!❤️❤️
