xenoia had frankly lost count of how many times she had attempted to reject the man's advances. it seemed as if 'no' was a word that was absent from his vocabulary because it went in one ear, then right out through the other.
was it a crime to order a drink in peace?
she was surprised that her friend and sister hadn't lost their minds at how long she had been missing for.
"let me pay, gorgeous," he smooth talked, which, in xenoia's opinion, was making her gag. the endearment was just the tip of that repulsing iceberg.
"sir, i'm good. i told you already, i have a boyfriend."
of course jude hadn't necessarily asked her out yet but she needed to do something- say something, that would shake this man off her case.
"and i'm saying, he don't gotta know," he urged back. his thick american accent would've been attractive in any other situation, but in this case, xenoia was on the verge of cuffing herself a rich footballer, and nothing else seemed to matter.
the girl scoffed, eyes rolling in disgust. "yeah, no i'm very much satisfied."
yet his persistence was through the fucking roof and he just couldn't back down.
where the fuck is jude when you need him?
"come on, a little fun won't hurt. he doesn't need to know."
the sentence alone pissed xenoia off, and she kissed her teeth.
"nigga- i'm not a cheater so you can miss me with that bullshit."
she quickly swiped her card on the reader, and snatched the bottles from the counter. she'll be damned if she tolerated this tomfoolery for any longer.
"at least lemme get your num-"
"did you not hear her the first time?"
and never would've xenoia guessed that she would be crying in relief from hearing a brum accent.
