After Carlos left tk decided to get dressed and get some coffee from the kitchen only met by his dad making breakfast
"Morning son ." His dad said with a smirk "what dad ." Tk said grabbing a mug from the cabinet " I didn't say anything ." Owen said, "you gave me the dad smirk ." Tk said " the dad smirk ." Owen said with a small laugh "spill it ." Tk said, " your boyfriend didn't see me on the couch this morning drinking my coffee when he left ." Owen said
"He's not my boyfriend dad ." Tk said sipping his coffee " then why was he in your room all night ?" Owen said, " dad you do realize I'm not 17 right ?" Later a knock came on Tk's window tk opened his blinds seeing Carlos on a ladder "we have a front door you know ?" Tk said as Carlos climbed in " I thought your dad can't know I'm here ." Carlos said " he saw you this morning sneaking out your not a secret ." tk said with a laugh "wanna tell me why you needed to talk to me so desperately ?" tk said, " you might wanna sit down ." Carlos said
"You can say no if you don't want to okay ." Carlos said "you're scaring me ." tk said, " can you come home with me for Christmas ?" Carlos spat out "I'm confused ." tk said "you barely know me ." tk laughed "I know you enough to know you're a good kisser ." Carlos said with a small laugh " look I get it's a big ask but every year my family makes a big deal because im the only one who's single I told my mom last year that bring a boy home for Christmas and she thinks I've been dating somebody the past few months.." Carlos said
"So you want me to come with you and be your fake boyfriend ?" tk asked "yes.." Carlos said shyly "that's if you don't have any plans ." Carlos said "I'm Jewish ." tk said with a laugh " right your Jewish! Oh, my bad happy Hanukkah ." Carlos said, "is it merry Hanukkah?" Carlos said, " take a breath -." Tk said, " I'll do it ." Tk said with a sigh " really ?" Carlos said, " yeah how hard can it be ." Tk said
"Okay, so how long have we been dating ?" Carlos asked tk on their car ride to the ranch "4 months ." Tk responded " correct ." Carlos said, "how did we meet ." Carlos asked "work ." Tk said "good ." Carlos responded, "okay I think - I think we're good ." Carlos smiled " oh and one more thing we have to show some affection towards one another ." Carlos said, "if we don't act like a couple my mom will catch on right away ." Carlos said, " you act like I've got cooties." Tk laughed "no of course not I just - I didn't know if you felt comfortable kissing me -." Carlos said, " you've put way too much thought into this ." Tk said, " when you meet my mother you'll understand why ."
When they pulled up Carlos's mom ran out the front door "Carlitos !" She squealed as they got out of the car she hugged Carlos so tight as tk smiled from behind " and who is this !" Andrea smiled " mom this is Tk, my boyfriend ." Carlos smiled " oh so your the son my man has been dating !" Andrea smiled pulling tk into a hug " sweetheart you should have told me you were bringing such a catch home !" Andrea laughed " oh my what happened?" Andrea said noticing the bruise on tks arm " oh work accident ." tk said with a small laugh pulling down his sleeve Carlos gave tk a concerned look but tk shrugged it off
"So how did you two lovebirds meet !" Carlos's mom asked, "work Tk's a paramedic ." Carlos smiled " awe that's sweet I have to tell you tk you are exactly what I've always wanted for my son you are cute, sweet, respectful, hot ." Andrea laughed tk giving her a smile
"Why don't you two go up to the guest room get settled and take a nap your sisters and their family won't be here till 8 so you guys have some time ." Andrea winked at them
"Mom ." Carlos said, " what im just saying ." Andrea laughed
When they got to the guest bedroom and Carlos closed the door "sorry about my mom she's weird -" Carlos said, " what am I the first boy you've brought home for Christmas." I'm teased
"Actually yes ." Carlos said " so then she's just excited for you, you know how moms get ." tk said, "does yours ?" Carlos said looking at Tk "uh - my mom died before we came here ." he said "I'm sorry -" Carlos said, " it's fine seriously ." Tk said
"But I think your mom is just happy that you found someone." Tk said with a smile " yeah but now I have to call her in a few months And tell her that we broke up ." Carlos said, " hey you can use me as your excuse until you find the one ." Tk said, " you seriously don't mind ?" Carlos said " consider us even if you saved my life I saved your Christmas ." tk laughed " dork." Carlos said throwing his pillow at tk
