Six }

Bidding good-bye to her new family , Aradhya made her way to her dad's company . Rather than going to her house she went straight to her destination . Taking a taxi she drove off to C&K Industry .

" Hello Mr Roy , I would like to ask you to inform my dad about my arrival there . I have some important discussion with him " She called her dad's PA . " Ofcourse beta . You're always welcome here . " Mr Roy who is just like her father said with a warm smile on his face .

She hung up the call and sighed looking  out of the car's window . Now will she lead her married life in this way . Being a unwanted wife . Her thoughts broke when the driver informed her about her arrival . Paying him off she went inside the company .

" Welcome Mrs Malhotra.  Boss is waiting for you " the receptionist said . Mrs Malhotra her new identity which holds nothing but vacancy . Sighing she nodded at the receptionist and took the personal elevator to her dad's floor . It's not her first time coming here . From her childhood she has came here . " Baba " she called for her father entering his cabin .

" Ara my daughter " Mr Chakravarti said and pulled her daughter in for a hug . She gently laid her head on her father's chest . Her absolute safe place.  " Baba I missed you " she said trying to control her tears.  " You have to get habituated about this now beta . Malhotra house is your new home now and they are your new family . " He said making her nod .

" Now tell why did you come here . That also the very second day of your marriage " Mr Chakravarti frowned. " Baba I want to work. You told me that you will make me the CEO once I complete my MBA course " Aradhya said making her dad's eyes wide .

" But Ara it's been only two days of your marriage.  What will the Malhotra family think " Mr Chakravarti said. " I have already talked with Papa  and maa they have no problem with me working . And about Aarhan I'm sure he will support me too " Aradhya said making her dad nod .

" Fine then , the coming Saturday will be the day I'll make your the CEO of our industry . Till then observe everything hmm .. " he said stroking her hair.  She nodded before walking out of his cabin to the machinery area .

It's a textile industry so making of clothes  . Due to the high demand of public thier Industry is producing Cotton and polyester fabric . She entered the door of the area with a mask on her face and gloves on her hands .

It took her 2 hours to examine everything . They have the most trusted employees and labours .
It was last 2 pm when she got a  call from her dad that it's time for lunch.

" Ara ' Van Heusen ' has asked for the new designs . They'll send thier employee On Thursday for the selection . I want you to lead them as the New CEO " Mr Chakravarti said making Aradhya nod . After having lunch she went to the designing department . In between her observation she got a call from her only bestfriend .

" Aye Ara You totally don't call me now often " Sanvi huffed on the call making Aradhya smile . " I'm in the company now Sanvi.  " Aradhya answered . " What . Why " Sanvi asked . " I thought of joining dad's company . I want to make myself independent . Wait I think they're hiring for fashion designer . Do you want to apply " Aradhya said in one go .

" WHAT. yeah ofcourse . Just tell me the time and date " Sanvi said.  " It will be held tomorrow . Bring your documents " Aradhya said making Sanvi hum . " I'll be the one taking your interview so try to relax" Aradhya laughed making Sanvi laugh too .

On reaching home she saw Aarhan's car already parked in the lane. Sighing she went inside the house to see Malhotra family having chit-chat . " Aradhya beta you came . Go freshen up I'll serve the dinner " Mrs Malhotra said making her smile and nod. She walked to their room .

" May I ask where were you ? " A deep voice came from behind making her flinch.  She turned around to see Aarhan in his casuals . " And why should I answer you. " She asked in the same voice which he used . " I heard that you wanted to work for your dad's company . When you have all the Malhotra Company with you " Aarhan asked making her roll her eyes .

" I won't clarify anything to you Mr Malhotra . And about working it's totally my choice . So no one here has the right to decide about me " saying this she walked straight to the washroom .

The next morning is the interview day . She along with Mr Roy have to take the interviews of the designers .
Doing her morning routine she took a fresh shower and wore her outfit .

she wore her saree , tied her hair in a bun and walked downstairs.  " Morning maa and Papa and Dadu " she wished the elders taking their blessings. And smiled at Akshay and Divya  . " You ready for office beta " Dadu asked making her nod . Yesterday at dinner she discussed Few things with her family .

" Yes dadu " Aradhya answered serving the pulao on her plate .
" Beta you don't have to take any taxi . Aarhan will drop you from today " Mr Malhotra said making her choke on her food .  " But Papa " Aradhya started but stopped when she heard Aarhan's words .

" Okay Papa " she heard him making her clench her fists   . Smiling at her in-laws she walked out with her sling bag on her shoulder ..

" You know you could just deny the idea of dropping me " Aradhya said only to receive a shrug ..
